Saturated Fat vs. Carbs in diet

The "experts" are finally starting to realize that excess carb consumption and not fats, even saturated, are leading causes of heart disease.

"No one's ever proved that saturated fat clogs arteries, causes heart disease" according to the headline.

Perhaps we'll see articles during our lifetime that shows the true risk vs. reward of responsible hormone use.
 
I agree, its about time, Heart Disease is an inflammatory disease caused by high glycemic carbs which send the artieries into a spasm. Cholesterol really only becomes a concern when it oxidizes, good amounts of Vitamins C & E can help prevent this from happening.
 
People are finally starting to wake up. I was diagnosed as “pre-diabetic” about a year ago. I don’t have my numbers in front of me but, along with that, my cholesterol and tryglycerides were out of control. I cut way back on the carbs, just lots of fat and protein and some vegetables. And after about six months I switched to the Anabolic Diet where it was basically the same as I mentioned but I do a short carb up on the weekends. Not only am I bigger, stronger and leaner than ever before, I’m also a lot healthier. My doctor is shocked how well I improved, without using any drugs meant to help those conditions. He’s doing a lot of research on this type of diet and hopes to be able to help people with nutrition instead of putting them on drugs.
