The only thing that worked for me were the voodoo floss band.

Google "voodoo floss band elbow" and a video of Kelly Starrett will show how to wrap and shows the motion and movement he uses.

This helped me. They are cheap and the treatment is not time consuming.

Boy I feel fortunate on my recovery of tricep tendon repair, hearing op stories many months later is hard. After all my many surgeries, the tricep tendon was the best, all the tendonitis is gone and stronger then before. I dealing now with a quad tendon repair, 9 weeks post op and getting stronger, I know this will be a little long but not as long as my shoulder repair, that took about 11 months to get back to 100%.

pull ups are out of the questions

For pull-ups, I've had better elbow health when I started gripping the bar primarily with fingers only (no thumbs).

Anti inflammatory, lower weight, avoid any exercise that hurts you, massage and ice. That works for me.
