At first I was going to just ask about GHK-cu copper peptide for skin, hair, and inflammation/injury AND BPC-157 for healing and repair, but I included several others I have strongly considered taking and am interested to hear your experiences with them. Effectiveness, duration, dosing and the other pertinent details in your protocol would be great to paint a picture of how the peptide worked for you. I got pretty educated on peptides when it was just the ghrps and ghrhs and eventually grew mostly uninterested..but never got too deep into the newer advanced generation of them that can pair so well with trt, full blown cycles, health, longevity, injuries, and aesthetics.

I keep in touch with Alpha from time to time and he mentioned MOTS-C and SS31 and put them on my radar last week - but I have not looked into it yet. I'm also very interested in selecting or developing a protocol for myself using (at the very least) Ipamorelin alongside trt and protocols to intermittently use BPC-157 and GHK-cu as needed. Although, the more I learn - the more I will likely convinced to use much of what I listed above in the thread title. It's pretty amazing that we can seemingly focus direct attention to our growth, sleep and well being.. .our cosmetics and health of our hair and skin...and our injuries and immunity - all while doing it healthily via sequenced amino acids.

Looking forward to hearing your stories.

I can speak on my own personal experience with BPC

A few years ago I destroyed my knee starting BJJ in freak accident, I tore my ACL, MCL, LCL, and Meniscus, I used BPC during that time period and it helped reduce so much inflammation and swelling in my knee

Currently I have no ACL and a partially torn meniscus in my left knee, and I train BJJ, wrestling and May Thai 4-5 times a week + 3 weight training sessions, I've sprained my knee 3 times mild-moderately in the past year (no ACL means it gives out with rotational force) wrestling/sprinting and each time recovery is 6-8 weeks for my knee with BPC (250 mcg 2-3 x per day) and PT (strong tibia's anterior, gastroc, and quad/ham does wonders for providing knee support)

I'll get ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery next year, but BPC has helped reduce a lot of swelling and speed up the recovery process each time. I can still throw kicks and grapple (smartly) with my not so perfect knee, it shocks my coaches how quickly I'm jogging after spraining my knee

I also recently started getting much more in to the health and aesthetic parts of this life. I ordered quite a bit of mots-c, Ghk-cu and a few others. Mots-c im running Monday, Wednesday and Friday, although I’ve read it takes a while for saturation and any positive effects.

Ghk-cu I’ve been using 2mg in the morning and 2mg at night for a few weeks. I gotta say, I’ve noticed difference in my skin, especially on my face. Skin seems tighter and more “radiant”. Plan on using this for a long time, as everything I’ve read points to no real adverse effects. I know a lot of other here use tb-500 and bpc which I’ve never used, although I have some on the way. So I’ll leave that to them.

It should be interesting to see if your hair gets fuller or changes from grey if you have any. The copper peptide is small enough to work really well topically too. As a side note, I've seen it mentioned anecdotally that Melanotan II has nullified some people's greys.

I don’t have much grey, but that’s something I’ll keep an eye on for sure. I will say this, if you use the injectable, take your time with it lol. I guess I hit the wrong area subq once and it was the worst burning sensation I have ever felt from an injection for a solid 10 minutes

thinking about getting some BPC-157 and TB500 for my post-surgery abs

still got a good amount of swelling that could take another 3 months to dissipate, but im concerned about nerve/muscle damage from the incision.

really wish that fucking surgeon told me about ablation before slicing me open and fucking my midsection up... but oh well, here we are

I’ve used a ton of bpc, I prefer it over tb500, both work but Bpc works like magic.

I thought I tore my bicep a few weeks ago. I was in agony for 3 hours, I injected Bpc in it 30 minutes later pain was gone, tightness came back the next day and for a few days it was tight but it has an amazing ability to reduce inflammation, I use it in my elbows and knees post training of either push or legs. If I don’t the next day my joints are fucked

Yes, I heard or read that there is an "allergy" that effects many(but not all) users with ghk-cu and it will burn at the site pretty intensely.

What is your go-to protocol/injection scheduling?

If it’s to reduce inflammation post stressor. 500mcg right into the site. If it’s something that needs healing like a minor tear, strain or something 250mcg morning and night

Like for my elbows after push or knees after quads I’ll do 500mcg in each knee and each elbow. Then see how it is in the morning. If it’s still sore I’ll do 250mcg twice that day till pain goes away

Personally, I would be THRILLED to reverse some greys and thicken up my hair. I didn't notice this necessarily in gradual steps as it was happening - but my hair is WAY more grey than it was 5 yrs ago. Back then it was mostly jet black with some greys mixed in and now im prime george clooney with the heavy salt mixed amongst some pepper. Fortunately I don't have any noticeable loss of hair but it definitely isn't as thick. I suspect I was susceptible to greying(as I did already have some)... but taking 45-60mg Zinc daily in health protocols during the pandemic likely greatly contributed to it. Somewhere in 2022, I realized I should probably add some copper bisglycinate to balance it and perhaps restore some but I kept putting it off due to basically being stressed out and busy. FFW to now and I'm considering ghk-cu and maybe 1-2mg copper orally.

Goals with peptides:
GHK-cu: Reduce or reverse greying of hair, add thickness to hair, add skin and inflammation benefits.
BPC-157: "Boost" the functionality and maneuverability of my SLAP tear/torn labrum in my shoulder while I continue to contemplate surgically repairing it. Also had 40% torn supraspinatus and bicep tendonitis and tendonosis along with a subchondral cyst and impingement on my left side.
My right side had impingement and a torn supraspinatus @ 20%.
In my neck I have had a bunch of mild disc degeneration with very small disc protrusions. @C4-5, c5-6, c6-7.
All of these were revealed in late 2020 mri's. I tore my shoulder up in March 2020 doing low inclines with 160s but it was likely a slow tear over a decade plus of many things. I've taken some long breaks out of the gym...specifically 6mos when I moved to SoCal in late 2020 and again for 6mos just recently. Between then I trained often and fairly intensely but had to work around the above mentioned injuries.
Ipamorelin: Better sleep and recovery.

Immunity and wellness via other peptides would be great as well, but my real goal is to find some optimization with really sensible and effective usage of the right compounds to achieve the above. Thanks for any and all input.

good thread, in for a follow

the only peptide I have used is the BPC / TB combo meal and it is fantastic. Also, MT2 is pretty amazing if you are into being tan. Amazing dark tan color year-round that still looks natural and keeps required sun exposure to a bare minimum. Additionally, personal anecdote, but I am absolutely convinced that the blood flow improvement component of MT2 aids in fasted cardio stubborn fat loss when going from lean to shredded in the same way as yohimbine HCL.

Does Melanotan-2 count?
Been using our own product for 4 weeks now. I've never, ever been so tanned in my life with little to no sun exposure. It actually looks even better than a regular deep tan, there's an amazing glossy bronze shade.
Added bonuses: makes dieting soooo easier. Curbs appetite big time. Enhanced sex drive and random chubbies 😶‍🌫️

I was using Melanotan in 2008/2009. I dont mind the mentions of it but I certainly am not looking to learn about it unless people relate it to their specific or unique experiences with hair or skin health. It is certainly a great peptide that works and was always very affordable and never faked.

Mots-c has the potential to be something very impactful in medicine. I hope more guys chime in that have used it. @gib68sg keep us posted!

My hair was jet black from dark brown the times I used m2 when I used to cruise to the carribean twice a year from 2007 to 2012. Skin was so dark I was mistaken for an American Indian lol.
I have used injectable ghk-cu 4 vials and noticed nothing...nada.. not even the purple spots people have reported at the injection site. There are some creams coming out that I will try eventually. I have really great skin for my age 50 which I attribute to use of omega fatty acids through fish oil and a wide assortment of raw nuts. I have some Grey highlights which I do color my hair 🤔 for.

Agreed on all but the freckling is brutal on me.
Dang it.

I had terrible Achilles issues that I attempted to fix through therapy, graston, dry needling, rest, wearing a boot while sleeping to keep it stretched at night etc etc.

It was to the point where walked downstairs in the morning was shearing pain. No calves for a very long time...

I did a 8 week run of BPC, cant recall the dosage, and it basically "went away".

This was 2 years ago and now the Achilles are fine.

A+ on BPC.

I have not seen any increased healing when using any of the healing peptides on different occasions. . But i would guess if things are injured enough then they may have little value. MT2 did work as expected.

I'm interested to hear dosing protocols for the GHK-Cu. I've read some that say 250mcg 2x/day, 500mcg/ 2x/day, and 1mg 1x/day. For those who've run this peptide injectible, what dose did you use, and how long have you run it. And did you notice any benefit, primarily with respect to improvement in skin condition. (reducing of wrinkles, etc.)
