so technically i wont be able to buy vitamins to improve my health but i will be able to go to the corner liquor store for a pack of smokes and a fifth of wiskey. and if i walked to the liquor would probably pass at least 1 crack dealer and 1 fastfood chain where i could take in enough trans-fats and calories to ensure early onset of diabetes, obesity and heart disease.

I thought those things were already controlled in some way by the FDA. I read through some of it, but didnt really see anything that would spell out increase in prices. Prices are already damn high enough on these products, its bad enough when you have to pay taxes on it when you buy it because its not considered food. If the FDA is going to controll it, then perhaps it will be reclassified as a food, and then we wont have to pay local taxes on it.

They can't make as much money off you if you are healthy and people are easier to control if they are all fucked up.

Plus if you are unhealthy you will die sooner which is a big plus since the world is so over popluated according to them.

btw i know all about this stuff because the local government did the exact same thing to basically eliminate the competition to the lobbying pharma companies...you can always find something wrong with even a good product considering theres 100.000.000.000 "regulations" to comply with...

the pharma companies that were not clo$e with the local government $omehow did not get their licen$e$ extended ...it may not go down exactly like this in the USA but you get the picture...alex
