Hi there,
I have been using testosterone propionate 100mg/1ml for 8 weeks now and have been achieving awesome results. I have gained 6.5kgs (14.3 pounds) in this time and lost 2cm of my waistline. I have suffered a few of the side affects from using it and most i have been able to bare. side affects like Test Flu/fever at the 2 week point, an absurd amount of acne, sore/corked injection sites for the first 4 weeks and an increased sexual drive which is awesome cause i have always suffered from erectile disfunction but no more.
but... I have noticed one side affect which has me a little worried. since week 3 i started suffering from shortness of breath which I thought was asthma. I didn't think it was related to the steroid use because there has been a season change here in australia and i normally get a bit of asthma during this time. I also didn't think it was related to the steroid use because I have previously done a cycle of dbol and it completely eliminated my asthma.
What got me thinking that my shortness of breath was related to my use of test prop was that I injected the other day and had a nap (not the best thing to do after an injection i know) and I woke up and had severe shortness of breath. It didnt feel like asthma to me as i wasn't weazing although after using my ventolin puffer i felt much better. I have noticed that my shortness of breath tends to be a little worse after i wake up generally. I cant do much cardio but i have no problems with my weight training.
For the first 6 weeks i was injecting 8ml per week (2ml every second day) and now im on 10ml per week. So thats 1000mg per week. Im currently 89.8kgs (198 pound) and 180cm tall (5.9ft). Im also using Minomycin to control my acne and im using a symbicort asthma preventer and a ventolin asthma reliever.
My questions are:
Is shortness of breath a known side affect of testosterone propionate? (i have searched but found nothing)
If it is a known side affect, why does it happen?
Is there a way to relieve this problem?
I know this sounds nuts, but would adding some dbol's to my cycle correct the problem?
why does Dbols have the complete opposite affect? less estrogen maybe?
I want to swap to test enanthate for my next cycle, will this have the same affect? if does have the same affect i might stick to the prop as i can get it out of my system much quicker in an emergency.
Is there any decent injectables that wont cause this problem?
Its hard to get doctors advice in australia because steriod use is extreemly restricted in australia. I have seen one doctor and he just said to stop injecting but he was very very anti steroid and he refused to confirm if its actually a side affect from my usage. As it is im going to source my proviron to end my cycle through a mate as i cant find a doctor that will perscrible it. Australia sucks..
Im willing to bare the shortness of breath as i have bared all the other side effects (im just unlucky) but im just a little worried that it might get worse than shortness of breath.. I can manage it to a degree with the asthma medication..
thanks
