Should I get estradiol or total estrogen checked?

Im going to be using one of those labs online for my hormone tests ( I use my insurance for my other bloodwork),I have to pay for each test ,so I was thinking of just going with free test and estradiol to see where im at.I am currently just running a "TRT" dose of 250 mg week.I know idealy I should get the deluxe hormone panel done ,but that gets pricy real fast.Any thoughts?thanx

I think thats good for trt. It lets you know if you need to adjust your test or maybe add an anti-e. If you were to add anything else i'd get dhea tested as that is low with many trt patients.

Estradiol or total estrogen? why bother with dhea?

Just go with estradial. Dhea is an inmportant hormone and many have low levels and dont know it. Its responsible for sex drive and muscle mass,etc.. just read up on it and you'll see.
