When did we get so many memebers here that care less about the actual working out and training and more about just pumping drugs into their bodies. All these posts of this drug and that drug and what you can get away with. I remember when it was about guys buckling down and setting personal bests and really lifting the weight. Just really disappointed with some of what I am see'n
 
wel my thoughts are that maibe peaple are afraide to descuss this matters more openly since its a tochy subject so its esier to ask when concealing your id. but i wish peaple would do some research on the subject whtat about all the books abaileble? i admit ilike dicusing stuff but only to see if theres something new worth trieing jus a thought!
 
Challenge yourself both with effective eating and training on a weekly basis...see what happens go from that point on!

Good point.

I've posted this before but it seems worse now. Take this chemical, or that chemical, I'm too lazy to work hard, or try this dangerous drug or that. Just curious when everyone stopped working hard and found even quicker short cuts.

I agree. It seems as though people are trying to use drugs to cover up their sloppy diets and or crappy training routines. People seems to get lazier nowadays.

Well welcome to the new age of "I wanna be big but do not want to do any hard work to get there". This is the new young gun mentality. They all forget that guys like myself, Phil, and many other slightly older members here have been in the gym all of our lives. We built our foundations on the hard work and sweat you speak of. It was only after that that we looked for the edge. Now we have the new wave of gym rats that only run with blinkers onand have no idea what hard work is. Truth is they will never have physiques that will even come close to guys like B-Boy, Dusty and others here.

The pretty boxes at the top in the sponsors banners have nothing to dom with the metality that Arma is talking about. That mentality is ingrained into them at the gyms and from the media hype surrounding AAS.
The banners displayed throughout this forum represent sponsors, whom we need to thank for this boards very existance. It is no secret that the world of Professional and Amatuer body building is associated with AAS use. But it has been that way for a long long time. It is only more widely publiscised these days.

I'm not as "seasoned" as some of you guys ;) Didn't want to say old, but I've been training since I was 13-14 yrs old. I never even thought about drugs until my 20's and even then not so much. Even now I've been away from it for a LONG time now. I just love the rush of the weights being slammed around and the different feelings you get from throwing around some steal. If that RUSH could be bottled, it would be the hottest things since sliced bread.

I have a few friends that won't even workout with being on something! They will flat out not train or do anything, I don't understand. It's not about health at that point but just being big. I would rather have a healthy heart and be able to run around the property with the dogs and family than just be big from time to time.

I don't think you can hold the sponsors responsible, everyone has the choice

We took 200-400mg of test and maybe 20mg of dbol and that was consider a big cycle. No, we trained like animals and paid are dues. I am training for a show watching my diet and training hard. At close to 50, To megadose is foolish. I plan to live longer. The fact is these young guys are taking amounts that are foolish and most don't even compete. Add, T3, insulin, directics, DNP(Yes, you fools, it kills) and you are asking for a short life span.

Yes Pesty you are correct. I am old school. I never used a diuretic at any stage of my competitive days. I have enjoyed a very successful amatuer pathway in bodybuilding and never had to megadose anything. Oh and I have poor or only average genetics for this caper. There really is no need to look at megadoseing any of this stuff. Unless you are in the top of the top in this sport.
 
i think that everyday more and more people find this board for the first time. most of these new people have a pretty good idea about dieting and lifting weights. not many people can say that they know everything there is to know about sex hormones, peptides, and anabolics. they come here to learn. some use the search button for years and some start new threads about using test and dbol in the same cycle.
 
I'm not going to assume that people aren't training hard, and trying to eat appropriately to their goals . . . but one of the problems with this board and posting anything about training is that you get flamed right away by half the board for your training method or style or whatever.

I personally use a different board for my information on training.

This board, IMHO, is the best their is when it comes to learning about aas.

Just my two cents.

Oldfella, Pesty, Armageddon....remember when we were young and the "grumpy old men" who were mad at the world in our eyes........remember that? Well, that is beginning to happen to "us" now as we age and see a diffferent generation and different way of thinking............it is a different world now.......VERY DIFFERENT.........and we must accept that. Bodybuilding had morphed into drugs, surgeries and implants.........thats just the way it is.........sad huh?

not to mention the unbelievable doses you see! Then they put their pic up or in their avatar and they don't even look like they have touched a weight!! much less on a bodybuilding forum talking harsh chemicals.

All training works.......some works better than others.........some is more efficient.........if you have something revolutionary post it up with your pictures.......lets see it.

GRUMPY OLD MEN????? lmao. yes Phil, things are very different today, I acknowledge that. But one thing I think all us GRUMPY OLD FARTS can agree on is that good solid training is still the way to a great physique along with good nutrition. Not just opening up a bottle of oil and squirting in as much as you can. truth be told Phil, I am not angry or grumpy over the NEW WAYS. Just bewildered it has morphed into what you said, DRUGS, SURGERIES, IMPLANTS AND MORE DRUGS. VERY SAD INDEED.
 
There's enough old information, in old threads to answer most any question. If you look long enough. And the newset "research" is disscussed mainly in the Peptide forum.

The current trend of questions is nothing "new". Just now the expirenced guys don't respond to the same questions over & over. But you do have alot of new, no so expirenced guys answering questions, that they don't have the practical knowledge to really be answering those questions. But they try anyway. And most the time, it gets just silly.

This here is what gets me. I guess you have to see it, an fool at the aftermath of some of these functions could see some of it coming. I've seen a few things after the Arnold that blew my mind. Something about moving more and more weight everytime I hit the gym makes me feel good, strength crush's ill feelings, destroys depression, its just exciting. I see to many people on medications these days and if they would just get uop off their ass's they could dump half those pills. My grandfather is a good example of not enough exercise and too many pills. Way too many people are depressed or can't deal with life. Shit move to Michigan right now and tell me about headaches, lol. The gym is a perfect answer for this. Part of the reason I still play football @ 32. I get to lay people out and its ok. You know what that does as a stress reliever! Even hitting a softball, does it. Not being active would suck!

Back in the days of the Gade' board, it was all of about the knowledge of the sport. Not how to take the shortest path. I feel like new training techniques and experiementation with set/rep schemesd are now overshadowed by what stack works best and frequency/quantity of using gear. Personally, I don't think the next generation will have as many individuals with quality mass as we had back in the days.
