skin problem since I got waxed : what can I do ??

I got waxed about 2-3 months ago and had a kind of allergical reaction that gave me zits on my chests and low belly

I dind't touch it but since they are gone I 've fuckin marks everywhere I had some and I hate that cause that represents a lot of marks

I know it's not gears related it's only due to that wax

whta can I do to make those marks go away ?
I've always had a nice skin and now I've that and I hate that

I heard tanning bed/sun can help to make it go away ... isn't it something else ???

well, you could try some good moisturizer or scar remover, there are some products that are prescription sold, so you may need to see a dermatologist to see what can be done.

i am now getting laser removal, and its leaving small scars, but they dissapear over a course of time, like 2 years or so, but i dont care, cause i was one HAIRY mofo before i started the laser. and it is working WONDERS!!!

some good moisturizer to use (i will get flamed because of the metro thread ) is some stuff called cetaphil, its dermatologist recommended, and it will keep your skin nice and supple and smooth...

sam thing happened to me... go to 1fast400.com and buy a couple bottles of tend skin. also exfoliate in the shower and tanning will help to as long as you moisturize. What you have is ingrowns. I can't get waxed anymore because i am prone to them.

i would love to hear some feedback on products that you guys have tried that work well. it sucks man, unless i have a brand new razor i get all irritated looking on my upper chest where your chest meets into your shoulder, forgive me for forgettign what its called.

nair doesnt do shit for me, any other ideas besides laser? i think im going to go that route, but i need something to get me through the summer w/out looking like a fuckin pink rash.

i haver found

i have found that not shaving the hair completely down in some areas really keeps the razor burn at bay. i use a beard trimmer instead of a razor on my chest, otherwise, i am covered with zits for a while.
try the beard trimming route, it works good, not as smooth, but hell, its gonna grow back anyways,
THE LAZER WORKS GREAT!!!
i am noticing like a 80-90% decrease in the hairs that were there, and the ones that are still there are very thin and dont grow worth a damn, you can almost sit there are like pull each induvidual hair out, and theres no pain

If you are really hairy, try the lazer, i will post some pics after i am done with my treatments, you will see the difference, its like NIGHT AND DAY!!!

Ive considered laser. I think you get the breakouts/zits because your hair is no longer there to hold oil and dirt-so it stays on your skin and clogs the pores. I notice this shaving or waxing.
That hair no more or hair away shit sucks-supposed to be permanent but doesnt work at all. The epil stop cream is a nice option, but doesnt last as long as waxing. Painless. Leave on 10min, wipe off, simple as that!

I was reading that if you are on a hormone therapy routine, you are not going to see great results...the therapy stimulats more hair folicals(sp). So it will help thin it out, but until you stop your hormone therapy, you will be a bit hairy.


I too have the same damn problem...just got waxed about 3 weeks ago and it will not go away.

Whenever you get waxed, you must request the waxer to apply rubbing alochol to the site after waxing. This takes care of majority of the problems, most people are mildy allergic to the wax.

What kind of laser are you using? I tried many sessions with the M Wave Lyra & it didn't do much at all.

I am using the YAG lazer. it is a new one, and works well on dark skin with dark hair. my dermatoligist has been waiting fo this laser, and now i am 4 treatments into it, expecting to do 8 or so, and my hair is sooooo much thinner, or gone, my shoulders used to be completly covered, i mean COMPLETLEY. and now they are almost bald, i can actually see striations in the muscles now@!@!
i will say though, when i was "on" i did my first 2 sessions, and is seemed as if the hair didnt stop growing, now that im "off" the hairs have just completely quit growing.
i imagine next time i will keep the test doses really low!!!

I used to get waxed (mostly just on my back) but I found that it grew back almost as fast as shaving and I got ingrown hairs (look like zits) all over the place like a rash. I don't bother with waxing anymore.

of course they disappear but damn I got waxed a few months ago and I'm afraid I'll still have scars in 1 year !!
