Slin is Warm

Since I was ordering some more pins I went ahead and ordered a few bottles of Slin from the same company. In the past I've always got my Slin from local pharmacy and when they give it to me it's straight from the refrigerator.

Well, the shipment came and the Slin was not wrapped in a cold pack or anything. Plus, it's like 90 degrees! I put it in the fridge when I unpacked my stuff, but is it now a total waste?!? It had to be on a hot truck for at least a few days!

Insulin should not be exposed to temperatures below 36° (2.22°) or above 86° (30°).

Most likely it will be OK. Remember, it's made to be carried by diabetics in their pocket.

But it says "Keep Cold" on the box, and I've always received it cold from the pharmacist.

But, if y'all say good to go - then I'm good with that!

its good for about 30 days without refridgeration. if u refridgerate it should slow the denataring, but its still fine to use it.
