Ive been smoking cigarettes for 5 years.

The thing is when i stopped i feel like shit.

its like cigarettes give me energy, I read it lower Estrogen and increase DHT.

Thats probably why i feel good when i smoke.


What should i do to help and increase dopamine naturally? Since cigarette increase dopamine.

Any tips?

nicotine has a unique effect of stimulating as well as relaxing simultaneously. It also releases a neurotransmitter (not sure if i worded correctly) acetlycholine. It enhances learning. So if you think alot or have a disposition to a thinking function. not having it abundant can make you feel dull. I have read some of your posts, you seem to view things from an uncommon perspective (just a guess, could be wrong).

I myself only crave nicotine when I take my add meds. I recently started using nasal snuff. I only use it once or twice a day max. It has probably been a week since I have had some. It hits the spot and I dont feel a need to smoke or dip.

increasing dopamine is an instinct to live and pleasure. it comes natural to all of us. hence why food and sex has such a strong drive.

I smoked for 10 years and quit last November.

You feel like shit when you stop because you are an addict. No other way around it. No one can make you quit, but just know a drug has that much power over you

I think you hit the nail on the head with this one, I generally have to smoke to think or calm myself down.
 
Clearly stop smoking and start taking Lozenges/Gum instead.

But i'd definitively drop Nicotine completely ;)

That is why it is the most addictive substance on earth. Hell, they use to issue them in a soldier's c-ration.
