YOu know i have a lot of problems with my lats and i recently have been doing some extra exercises one armed lower weight, and boy have i been sore. I think the key is to be controlled and focus on the lift and the muscles being worked. I may be wrong but give it a try..
Guys, do not use soreness as a marker for a good workout. Not being sore can often be a good thing. Just do what you have to do, train heavy, train intensly and get out of the gym and go eat!!
