I just made this wonderful smoothie and it was the best PWO drink ever!
The soupsop ( graviola) a very popular fruit used in the islands here and the endocarp, the soft white fleshy inside is used to makes a very refreshing and nutritious shake. I have modified it a bit. Im not sure where you might be able to find it in the US though.
8 oz of milk ( skimmed or whole)
ice cubes,
3-4 tbsp of Graviola pulp
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein powder ( I stick to True Protein )
a dash of nutmeg
Blend the milk and protein powder. Toss in the graviola flesh and blend. Add the nutmeg and the ice cubes. Blend on high and pour in a glass. Sip and enjoy. Adding more ice will give it a more ice cream consistency. If you're not worried of the calories, you can add a bit of condensed or cream ( for the bulking up guys).
