Sweet N Sour Sauce

Does anyone have a homemade recipe? We have a Restaurant chain just two that use a Sweet n sour sauce that is Awesome. I already tried to get the recipe but no go. I go there every week end. Sometimes it's thick like honey sometimes it's runny. It is used for Dipping sauce for Chicken Tenders or they used it over Grilled Chicken breast (chicken Hawaian) with a bed of rice. Here is what is in it.

Pinnapple tidbits
Mushrooms
Tomato's
Onions
Tiny chunks of sweet pickles (relish size)

Sometimes they serve it with Boil bubbles so I know they Boil this Sauce to a high temp!

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. ketchup
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. pineapple juice
1/4 cup crushed Pineapple


mix and heat until all sugar is dissolved.
