Does anyone know where I can get sterile oil(cottonseed or grapeseed)?
I have found a lot of the oil, but not sterile.

if your looking for sterile oil, dont bother as after filtration and autoclaving your as sterile as can be. Buy yourself a big bottle of filtered organic - grape seed , seasame seed, or cotton seed oil 1/10 of the price

I just need it to cut some gear I already have. The solvent is too harsh so for every 1 cc need to cut with 1cc of sterile oil.

It does not say sterile anywhere on there just filitered. Filitered and sterile would not be the same would it. They make no claim of it being sterile.

I think its like that for legal reasons.
.45 whatman will work for what your needing. they cost about 5$

What I would do ericraven is buy you a sealed sterile vial and the whatman filter. Go ahead and add the oil to your gear your cutting, then just refilter it all into the new sterile vial. no reason to bake it imo. I always thought the extreme heat like that could damage the gear.over the years some say yes some say no... I Just dont see a reason to bake it.

Make your own. Go to costco and buy a jug for like 5-10 bucks. Get some
watman filters.

I ended up baking it for an hour. It worked good.
