I got off of everything 11 days out from my competition and it's been another 3 weeks since then. So basically I've been clean, off of everything and no PCT going on 5 weeks.

Diet is on point. Training is focused on weaknesses that stood out on competition day. The rest of my training split is at maintenance level. Current weight is around 222lbs and slowly going up about a pound a week.

Cardio 2 x per week.

Hams are just starting to show. I'm pretty happy about that. Thanks has to go to Emeric for that.

John Meadow's diet is magic. I'm not on cycle or any on other supps and I'm still holding.

Have you lowered your water intake?
Have you increased sodium intake ?
Have you tried increasing water?
Are you nervous / worried / stressed ?

These make me hold water...

Well, I suspect I'm in full estrogen rebound. So I should be holding water. I drink about 1.5gal a day. And I'm not on any PCT/AI's or SERMS. I'm natural at the moment with a "Total Test" sitting at 42 as per last week's blood work.

Haven't you been on HRT for several years now? Why did you come completely off?

Yes, I've been on HRT for over 10 years. I'm going to stay completely clean until December. Then I'll start low dosage TRT. When I plateau I'll bump it up a bit. When I plateau again I'll bump it up some more. At some point I should be back on cycle.

Future plans...., ...there is only one thing on my mind. 6th place at the North American just won't do. I still lose sleep over this. I've become over-focused on one thing. And that is to clean up my presentation, bring up lagging body parts and make an honest effort at getting one of those nice shiny trophies.

You look great for any age but for your real age you look unbelievably good.

One question though, if you have been on trt for 10 years why let your t levels crash now? I would think that would be harder on your system then going back to trt.
No offense to you, like I said you look great, I'm just trying to learn.

There is a theory that getting completely off for a few months increases your response to your next cycle. And doesn't take a lot of searching to see that arguments for and against this theory will go on forever.

Personally I couldn't tell you if it's true or not. But next year will be my best year ever at any age no matter what. And so this time that I'm taking off will either add to it, or make no difference at all.

There is a thread on Alinboard right now where one of the members did a reset like you are talking about and is having some great results from it. I guess you will know for yourself soon enough;)

It is easy to see you have regained some stubborn fat!

Stubborn fat is actually very related to estrogen levels ;)

I'mt talking abouth stubborn on low abs, love handles, and lower back. The zone normally that have a lot of stubborn fat. So probably, it is a estrogen rebound as you are holding more water/fat in "estrogen places" including the previous i said and in thighs, glutes like women does.

If you are referring to a "primming" method is is the best method ever.

You have to think one thing, for a very good usage of AAS, ou shall be with:

- good insulin sensitivity
- low BF

So, the best way to start a cycle is very lean and after some weeks of low carb state.
