Guys I know that when lifting, overtraining can hinder gains. But what if your not lifting and just doing cardio? Will doing too much cardio stop weight loss? Reason being I heard a personnel trainer at the gym telling a client this.
Yeah, I just here some of these trainers that make up excuses to these people when they're just doing 30-35 minutes of low intensity cardio as to why they're not losing weight. And of course who knows what they're eating when they leave the gym.
If you are living in a caloric deficit you would definitely continue to lose weight. Although the weight loss would slow as your body's metabolism slows itself down for self preservation. But you would start losing more lean body mass as you went off the cardio deep end. That's why elite endurance runners are often emaciated looking, yet still have relatively high BF %.
Eat....you need to eat. If you deplete calories oo much your body will slow itself down and store fat in case of no more available food. Eat clean and moderation in the cardio department. A lot is not always better
