Glad to see this thread is still going. I’ve stuck to IM for my TRT

I'm either or at this point. I don't think it makes much difference TBH. Maybe a little less scar tissue with SQ...maybe? Don't notice any difference in the gym.

There is no real benefit to SQ and as some have mentioned, it can lead to itchy/painful/inflammed knots where injected for some people.

Pharmacokinetics for SQ are worse than IM. Bioavailability is lower, absorption is slower. (that's not really a bad thing though in some cases)

Doing IM with small gauge needles is already completely painless, so there really is no benefit to SQ.

Same as most. Subq for slower dispersion and lower estrogen values. However, as many have mentioned, It takes a while to dissipate so when using heavy amounts of gear I'm forced to go with IM.

I always try to keep scar tissue to a minimum so I opt for sub Q whenever I can.

Revisiting this thread I started a while back. The last two intramuscular shots I’ve taken 200mg TE have nearly crippled me. Both have been shot in the thigh and I can barely walk. I know how to inject and I just don’t get it. I’m using a 25 gauge now instead of the normal 23 gauge I was using before. Didn’t help. I can barely walk. I think I’m going sub-q from now on. I noticed Xyosted is a once weekly sub-q autoinjector so it clearly works.

I injected into the right leg 9 days ago and the pain is still really bad. No fevers or anything or swelling at the site. I can’t keep going through this tho. It’s awful

Any thoughts bro’s?

Only be concerned if there is redness or swelling and if there is go to the doc... As mentioned try SOMEWHERE ELSE.. Legs suck I started with them and recently started back on them just cause I was doing multiple daily inects and felt like giving some other spots a break.. But it's the last place on my list (never hit lats or traps tho) that I go to because its not only the most likely to get sore but the most likely to effect my life if it is sore. Try the ass bro

been doing sub q awhile now for trt, 10 mgs a day. Compounding pharmacy uses sesame oil which seems to agree with me. No redness or lil lumps at all

I’m starting to think this gear is dirty (VIP btw). Just did a sub-q last week right of the belly button (3-4 inches away) and agin terrible pain. I’ve had a welt the size of.l a bar of soap for 8 days. Went in for another round of torture by hitting up the left side of the bellybutton. Again crippling pain and huge welt. Fuck VIP and his dirty ass Mexican gear. No matter where I pin sub-q or intramuscular, it’s completely fucked.

I get a welt from Subq, I have one at this moment in time.
I also hit my right quad many years ago for the 1st and last time and was in pain for about 10days.

IM or Subq... doesn’t it matter how much you take? Nobody does a gram subq (I assume)

Yes it definitely matters for subq! I've been doing my TRT subq for about 4 years now. I've never gone above .3ml oil volume. If you start going above that, your chances of getting lumps/knots that are red and possibly painful definitely increases...at least that's been my experience. And I use prescription test cyp from CVS. Like everything else though it's individual. I'm sure there are some guys out there who can inject larger volumes and not have any problems. Also, the ester matters for me. I can't do test prop subq. Even from sponsors who I know put out top-notch, high quality gear I get red, painful knots from subq test prop. If I inject that same test prop shallow IM I have no problems. But again, I've read many times throughout this forum there are guys who do subq test prop with no issues.

I much prefer subQ and have done it for years... lower E2 and better numbers personally (total and free) but that's along the lines of TRT dosing at 250 total a week... about 30-40mg a day.

Test injection administration. I’ve always done intra. Considering doing sub q from now on. Thoughts? What do you guys do?

Subq never worked for me
Irritation, bruising, burning, the i didn’t feel the gear as much but might have been placebo

For low volume I use SQ. To much at once or injected to quickly can disrupt the tissue. And cause itchy red welts. Higher volume then IM. But that can occasionally lead to knots and sore muscles and some scar tissue.
