I don't see how getting ready for dinner and a movie is even in the same realm as preparing to go have sex with other people.

People who are "madly in love" don't do that, sorry. There is no way that I could ever be okay with my wife having sex with someone else or myself having sex with someone else. It has nothing to do with being "secure", you just don't share the person you are in love with.
