Thank you.You take great pictures! I paint and have a few of your landscape photos saved.
A hat trick is 3 different partners in 24 hours. Not sure what that means. But I take it as a good thing.
Speaking of not so good things and females getting in the way of training.
Today I get a call from a young female I met a week ago from the neighborhood.
I'm now on test, trest, Mast.
I vowed to not deal with fatties but the gear goggles got the best of me today.
So she comes over(as I work from home) with the intention of just going out to eat.
We get back to my house and things lead to a thing or two. In the back of my mind I'm like if I bust I'm going to be too lazy to even run or lift. The fuck demon got the best of me. So now I'm just going to veg and eat a pizza.
That said... I did run a couple miles this morning and did some pull ups and a couple sets of 50 rep squats( with a quarter on each side)
I aways try to do something light just to get the day started. Before doing anything though I've recently added a cold dip into my hot tub that is not heated. I do throw in ice cubes to cool the tub into the upper 50s.
That hadda be LVAC.Wy wife and I get a free gym membership at participating gyms with our insurance, the ‘chain’ type. I may catch a workout (rare), it’s mostly about free showers on the road.
So we roll into one of these places in Vegas. Shit, shave, shower. Done.
On the way out I see this trainer, I recognize his face (can’t see the bod; nice shirt and slacks) and I never forget a face. Names yes, faces no.
I pause, then it comes to me. Tony Pearson. Most people here will not have a clue who he is or was but at one time he was pretty hot shit. Great poser, was Mr. America, Mr. Universe, turned pro, won a few, did the Grand Prix Tour, never broke top ten in the Olympia though.
I take a moment and introduce myself and told him we back ‘77 in LA. We talked a bit about bodybuilding back then, the original Golds, when it moved to Santa Monica, the Mr. America parade in Santa Monica he was in, training at World Gym when it opened, bodybuilding now and then, bla, bla, bla. (He was flattered I remembered him and all the other stuff from back then I remembered.)
Super nice guy. Soft spoken, no attitude. Still looks to be in good shape, beautiful dark carmel skin, posture, waistline. (He was known for his wasp like waist.)
Outta the blue . . . what were the odds? Should’ve pulled a few slots on our way outta town
Damn, that wrap made my mouth waterIn Zion now, could not get a ticket (lottery, new) for the hike to the top of Angels Landing, the Narrows has too much water to do and The Subway, while incredible is only so with little water so just been hangin in the campground and doing several shorter hikes morning and evenings. The light in this valley rivals Yosemite Valley. Heading to Kodachrome Basin State Park tomorrow. Some shots leading up to and including today.
It was vegan. (So is my wife.) The best breakfast burrito I have had and I had my doubts.Damn, that wrap made my mouth water
