TENS Massager

Anybody ever try a home massager like this. I think this would help me with some scar tissue I have in my quad from an old injury? I tried this massager at their Arnold booth and I have to say it felt exactly like the one used when I go to physical therapy.

I'm thinking about buying the Pro Unit $299. It's a bit pricey but I think it might be worth it for me. My leg workouts are really suffering.

Anyone try similar/cheaper brand?

As always, any input is much appreciated.

I used a home Tens machine last month and am currently going to PT as well. Tens machines are for pain management no for scar tissue, PT is doing both Tens for paid and ultra-sound for scar tissue on me now.
The battery one my friend loaned me (and much cheaper) seemed to wrok pretty well on my knees for the pain, but if you have the money for a professional one, I am sure it will be at least slightly better at helping with the pain

I have a great tens from my PT that insurance paid for. I love it and it stops the pain, I use it every day. That sounds quite expensive to me I think the one my PT gave me was like 80 bucks. Tens won't help with scare tissue, just pain.

WOW that one is $350.00 and looks very similar to the one I got for less than $70.

I got a 6 pad unit from my chriopractor for 99 bucks work great and he has extra pads in stock from office.

I could use a new one. Mines quite old. I like them for little nagging injuries.

Better half got us the cheapie Prosepra model off Amazon. It works as good as my buds, which cost him significantly more from his Chiropractor.

IMHO nothing compares to a Chrio’s in office one, even the ones, they try to sell you!

Are those battery powered ones as stimulating (powerful) as the ones we get in physical therapy?
