Hey guys new to the forum,

Been training for about a year,

22yrs old
5'11
170
11-13% BF.... depending on time of year. (less cardio in winter)


Heres my starting point.... basically been crack skinny all my life and decided to do something about it! I ate my ass off and started to goto the gym.

After a while I started gaining and here I am 30lbs later

Its me with the highest BF I have had to date... after a few weeks of cutting I dropped my BF to 10% and my abs are back

Since then I had re-constructive surgery on my shoulder and dropped me down to 160.

My strength is almost back to normal and recovering fine. Benching 135 right now because of my surgery but hopefully will be back up to 180.... and when I say bench I mean reps of 10 not max... I never really had the urge to find out what I could do... I just increase weight when I feel I can rep it and step it up.

Im just trying to have that Athletic look.

Keep up the good work. Becareful doing bench with a bad shoulder though. Ever think of doing dumbells instead? better for your shoulder when done right. It's hard coming back from an injury, getting knocked down happens to everyone, getting back up is what makes you a real man.

Yeah I do mostly dumbbell exercises right now so the atrophy can catch up and strength... I recently have started benching and I am surprising myself each day. Which I just got back from the gym. Hopefully I'll be up to starting a new cycle in the next few months.
 
WOW! Great improvements! You look lean and solid in that 170 lbs pic! :)

Keep doing what you've been since you started, cause it's obviously working. Just don't pay too much attention to the scale... slow and steady is the way to go, no need to gain unnecessary bf.

Would agree completely!

Also, don't be in too big a hurry to push more weight. Think if yuo added just 2 lbs. per week to yuor bench where yuo'd be in a year or so!

Wow dad! That put things in a little more perspective for me!! I'm always like "Man I need to do five more pounds this workout!" every work out! When in reality a little progress per workout is improvement whether it's 1 rep or 1 pound even!!!!! I think I'll practice a little more patience and take it a little slower! :) THanks. -StOrY
 
WOW!!! if that's how you look like after a year of training, you have some nice potential.
you look really good bro... and don't focus on a number as far as weights are concerned... just focus on progress.

Thanks guys... I've always have been lean... I guess I can thank my dad for that.... guess he is good for something lol.... but thats another story.

I am a clean eating freak but splurge once and a while and eat some grease. :eek: But mostly eat flank steak, green beans, and some mashed potatoes or red potatoes. It also helps that my mom is a certified nutritionist, she helps me stay focused on the food front. Also thanks for the encouragement.


I just placed an order with Z so I am excited to see that soon too.

On a side note, I was recently diagnosed with asthma and can still run 3 miles every 3 days (my cardio) and be fine... but short sprints that's another story lol hopefully I can get rid of it with my endurance runs. I also Cycle.... like Lance Armstrong cycle lol just for fun though. But I do the MS City to Shore run for Multiple Scoliosis (100 mile charity race) each year. I guess since I stay active I stay lean lol

i dont think u need anything from z to get the look of A.C slater hahahh he was the man back in the day. i used to watch saved by the bell every weeek!!

but seriously man, u look good and can look great without gear. u have a HUGE advantage with your mom in the game. and uve only been training for one year.... thats nothing.. ur just breaking yourself in.

i know uve already placed an order... but PLEASE... PLEASE just throw it under your bed, and focus on food and rest before gear.

i can PROMISE you... with all my heart u will be more disapointed then happy when your done with cycle....

this is the place to learn... and learn even more from others MISTAKES...

be smart bro... im not putting you down.. i just KNOW u can get PAST your goal without the use of steriods...
 
The thing is I have low test production, and very little free test, Im on test cyp as it is have a script for it, I was just gonna do a deca test cycle and call it a day, I already have clomid and nolva on hand, but will also be stepping down the test cyp down to my normal dosage in that time. I've had problems gaining muscle and weight in the past, when I graduated HS I was a whopping 140 at 5'11 as you can see from my first pic I didn't gain a pound for 3 years even though I ate like crazy! BTW my thyroid, and metabolism is all in normal range.... I originally thought hyper active but they are not.

Also a few of my friends are NPC Body builders and some are just regular gym rats like me but they help me alot one even owns a nutrition shop, so Im usually well informed on products and cycles.

Hire PHIL HERNON...I've spent tons of money on supplements over the years and this was by far the best investment i've ever made. He will get you where you want to be.
