Testing FSH/LH Post HCG Administration?

Test Completed Monday - Last HCG Injection Friday

FSH <0.3 (Range 1.5-12.5)
LH <0.3 (Range 1.2-8.6)

Running 2,000 IU of Human Grade (from a pharmacy) HCG 3x per week
Running 2,000IU of board sponsor 3x per week

Basically 4,000 IU administered 3x per week


Does this look right? I would think it would be a bit higher? Running 200 Test +50 Oxandralone 4-5x per week.

HCG wont increase your natural levels of LH and FSH.

HCG mimics LH to increase intra-testicular testosterone (ITT) in the testes and stimulated the leydig calls to produce endogenous testosterone.

Your LH and FSH is rock bottom as you're on exogenous testosterone (200 Test) and 50mg Oxandrolone 4-5x week.

What exactly are you trying to do here?

HCG is VERY suppressive to endogenous LH and FSH secretion. Directly to hypothalamus on Gn-Rh secretion and inderectly through increased estradiol production (and sometimes prolactin too).

Clomid will raise your FSH and LH levels.

That dose of HCG is really high. Ive heard it theorized that you can do damage to the leydig cells taking sky high doses doses. Any particular reason you’re using that much?

From what I’ve seen members on here go through the sooner the better with HMG… I’ve done blood work a couple hours post HMG injection and that raised my LH/FSH into the normal ranges… HCG was similar to yours..

A couple members on here posted their sperm counts through their journeys and virtually all of them saw extreme increases in sperm count when they added HMG..

I don’t have full data on this for myself as the woman I was planning kids with a couple years ago and I had a falling out during this process so I stopped and never followed up with further testing..

But @Flex500 has an in depth thread on his situation, I believe @TheOtherOne55 also went through it, hopefully they’ll chime in with some better hands on info…

Figured I could get some uptick in spermatogenesis prior to leaving maintain with HCG and then implement the HMG?

Ok I see.

I thought you were using HCG to try and 'boost levels' but hasn't had a sperm test showing low numbers.

HCG and HMG would be advised IMO, and come down to minimum TRT in combination with Enclomiphene.

The fertility specialist I saw prescribed me 10,000ius/week hcg split into 3 shots and 75ius hmg twice/week for the first 4 weeks

To be real, you gotta come back from a Europe and get to work. hCG and multiple dosages was meh for me but the addition of HMG seems to be game changer most guys need. You need to get your hands on thay pronto and start administration. You’ll most likely seem blah success jusy doing the HCG route.

HCG 1000-1500iu 3x week. More is going to cause estrogen to rise and wont be more effective I doubt.

HMG 75iu 3x week.

You might also want to introduce 10mg/ED Tamox too or use an anti-E to address increased E.
