The Truth about abdominal distension

Hey guys, is been a lot of years people talking about everything without know the real truth of the simple sings....Imagine talling about bodybuilding and steroids, slim, gh, etc.

I am tired to heard clowns talking about abdominal distension saying it is becouse people use to much GH, Slim, Powerlifting training techniques, etc...

Hey in my opinion GH and certain drugs can make your organs grow, but you never know why or how they got these side effects, it just happends to some people even if they take low dosis.

I know a lot of bb taking big dosis of gh and slim and they dont get abdominal distension, and some lightweight has, even you can see girls with it.

So, the reason is no body responds the same,genetics, etc...

Look Ronnie, last year without distension, Gustavo some times shows a liitke distension, or some others cant hide it.

I just like to stop the BS

I sometimes have that problem when bulking and no GH/no slin
 
I have abdominal distention all the time

I thought only hgh could possibly make your internal organs grow?? Has it been proven that anythind can make organs grow?:eek:
 
It hold water around the internal organs. Dont think it makes them grow. Just my 2 cents.

can you provide information on how to avoid this disgusting trend? It looks horrible, so are there things a guy can do to avoid getting the gut?
 
I have a friend that he only takes 3 IU 6 months on and 6 off of gowth and he got the stomach distension so i thinks it is mather of luck, predisposition of your body to respond like that but you will never know that until,it happends.
 
I think a lot of this is intestinal fat that doesnt get lost right away with cutting as well. I mean look at Dorian yates now. He doesnt have half the mass he used to, but i saw his pics now that he is not competitive, and the guy doesn't have a gut left behind...

Just made me think a little, the way we cut a lot of times reduces subq fat, but not intramuscular fat around the digestive system, b/c calorie restriction is actually gonna promote fat storage there like no other b/c your losing it everywhere else, and the diet is restricted.

Could this be the missing link/trend that makes todays bodybuilder different than those of old.... kinda interesting don't you think.
 
Its from over eating, and yes Phil, I came up with that one from my medical journals since I am a M.D. :)

In normal people visceral fat is pretty much the first fat to go on a diet actually. I don't know if this changes when you are on a bunch of drugs that may promote it though.

I think its partly genetic, and partly has to do with the overall level of bodyfat as well as diet.

This is just talking out of my ass nothing to back it, but I would think that the way we witch to super high protein and low car diets we would start to accumulate fats around the digestive system as a source of energy for digestion etc. With low sugar intake the organs require a supstantial amount of local energy to produce ATP especially on a high protein diet. in the intestin"Collectively, dietary insulin increased mRNA levels of insulin and GH receptor, which could help explain the effect of dietary insulin on receptor-mediated postnatal development of the small intestine. Either way I don't think it is any one thing.... some people can use everything in the book with no distention, and others that have never used experience it... myself... I've always had it, since a kid, even at sub 5%, Its just the way I'm build... and one of my friends in college was an all natural wrestler and he was cut down to 2-3, and he had it as well...

Sure IGF can cause anything with receptors to grow... but if it made them grow to this extent... dont you think people would gain a lot more muscle while taking it as well? And does IGF actually make it grow per say or increase cell number so that it can grow... I dont have the study in my hand to look at the measurements they used. But IGF does not technically make anything grow. It just increases it ability to grow.

i trained naturally for 3.5 years before i started cycling... i competed and i had a gut... personally, i think it's from eating like a maniac to bulk up, and still eating a lot to preserve muscle while cutting... i also think that people who eat a lot to bulk and don't have a gut can digest and absorb food in an exceptionally efficient way.
people nowadays gain 30-60 lbs (depending on how fat they wanna get) in the offseason and lose it slowly during contest prep... i think that would cause a lot of distention... i mean, compare them to the old bodybuilder. back when bulking up was adding 10 lbs of pure muscle and contest prep was burning 5 lbs of fat and drying out a bit.

Same happends to me, people used to say in my coutry when i started to gain weight off season to pass to heavy weight division that i never going to loose the big stomach.

yeah, i looked like ass in my contest when compared to other competitors in my country. because most bodybuilders in my country have the old school way of thought, you know, they only gain a minimal amount of muscle (5-10 lbs per year) because they don't want to gain fat. they also almost exclusively do the deca/dbol, primo/dbol stacks. they look exactly like the old school bodybuilders... except with smaller legs :p ... i'm probably the only person in my area that trains legs... but still... most of them have absolutely no gut, and very tiny waists. so, i guess the face stuffing has something to do with it

Yeah, yeah, but some of those guys are always in the same class and some times they come with less weight than the year before.

I was coming heavier every year and that maked the difference betwing me and the others competitors.

PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE

BE CAREFUL WITH THE YO-YO WEIGHT. YOU ARE STARTING TO GET LOOSE SKIN AND IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. THIS IS ONE SIDE EFFECT THAT WILL NOT SHOW UP ON A BLOOD TEST.
 
Purchase the book called "Binge No More", by Joyce D. Nash, Ph.D.
OTH can add further here, but there is a lot of psychology involved with post contest depression as the results of strict dieting.
Since bodybuilding is a life-style I think we should stay closer to contest shape year round and not go above 10%bf throughout the year. I think people rely on the drugs too much as a last minute fix.
Just my inexperienced opinion. hahaha
