Ok I have this x-partner is a sign business that we started in 2005 and now things do not work out between us and I told him that either I leave and take just about 90% of the equipment or he leaves and he takes what he brough...a computer and a refredg. and microwave. Well anyway he now wants $2,000 for his troubles I gus because there no "Hard" numbers prooving this payment. I kept up with all the numbers and according to the business account (which isn't much because he used it to pay his half of the rent and utilities) his half is only $232.41 which includes what receipts I did have added in. Now he claims he will take me to court if I don't pay up the $2,000. Let's see...he has not proof I or MY business owes him this made-up figure. Keep in mind that the 50/50 stock papers have not been signed yet. The CPA accountant put a freez on this when he found out, also I'm on the agreement as President and the x-partner is listed as secretary. What's you guys take on this matter?
