Hi,
I'm running 2000 pro on my pc.
About a week ago when I went to open Outlook Express(email) it brought up the password prompt box.I have the computer set to skip password as it is a private computer. However I do have the password saved in case. When I hit "Ok" it just continues to pop back up the password prompt box and won't accept my password.
So far I have tried:
1)Resetting the password.
2)Setting up new use.r
3)manually clearing and resetting registry keys.
4)reloading Windows 2000 software.
Each time it just pulls up the same prompt box and then won't accept my password.
FYI 2000 does not have a safe mode option so I can't set the computer clock back to before this happened.
You guys have any other ideas to try?
