trying to cut down without loosing muscle

need advise on cutting down. I am 44 510 250 lbs been in the gym for 13 years try to cut to 230 solid. current carrying a lot of mass need a bit more definition. doing cadio for 1 hour a day in the morning before my work out. diet is good 6 small meals a day. getting ready to start 60 mcg anvar 60/mcg turanabol 50 t3 80 mcg clen a day. need advise on dossage or any other input . many thnx

Cardio and food would be my first suggestion. Dosed like this.

Early am cardio.

Eat only when hungary as many meals as that is. Get you bulk of calories from clean foods, chicken breast, fish lean red meat. And switch your carbs source for lots of green veggies(besides after weight training). No carbs after "whenever" pm.

Oh and some more cardio in the pm.

If this doesen't work then you may want to do more research on the compounds your thinking of using.

Then post up what your plan is and we can constructively critique that plan.
Oh and diet, age, height, weight, goals would also be helpful.

buy some bulk BCAA powder and sip on 15-25gr throughout the day helps keep your body in a anabolic state. plus youll be on var and tbol which will def help out. also are you sure you mean 80mg of clen and not mcg?? 80mg your heart would be running outta your chest.
 
First off, I would recommend a tried and true diet such as Dave Palumbo's diet (low carb). Second, I personally don't believe in the whole mind set of "bulking up, but getting cut", "cutting down but gaining muscle". I feel your best bet is to get off the fence and decide what you want to do, cut or bulk. I'd suggest you throw some Winny in that cycle and do a nice cut cycle. Recover for a couple months, maybe cruise on some test, then do a nice bulking cycle.

WORST DIET EVER. have you actually tried that diet? i don't know if i would call it tested and true. more like it works for a few people. a MAJORITY of people would do better on a diet that includes all macros IMO. strictly my opinion and prolly my trainers opinion too. i eat carbs with every meal and have achieved the conditioning i want so feel better and forgo the keto diets. -STEELE

I'm running the diet now. I find it working, not at the speed of light by any means, but I am probably the farthest thing from being nutritionally smart. I have a lot to learn terms of diet, nutrition, and the sorts. hahah I never knew it was that it is THE WORST DIET EVER though .What sort of diet outline would you recommend bud? Ears are open, always willing to learn, esp in this area!!:)
 
I agree with Steele 100%.

Low carb diets and cardio are not needed to lose fat. In fact, I find that theory to be outdated if not just a lousy fad that seems to be enduring in popularity. I dont do any cardio except for a handful of minutes pwo, but that is for my heart, not to burn fat.

If you drop the carbs and up the cardio you will over-train your legs and lose muscle. Im leaning out right now and using diet as my weapon of choice. Ive lost 10lbs in the last 2 months but Ive ADDED pounds to my lifts. Like everyone says, "its a marathon, not a sprint."

I AGREE AND DISAGREE ON THE DIET ISSUE...I DO BELIEVE THAT FOR SOMEONE WITH VERY LITTLE KNOWLEGE ON DIET THE PALUMBO DIET ISNT ALL THAT BAD..THERES ALOT OF INFO OUT THERE ON IT, AND ITS PRETTY MUCH A CUT AND PASTE TYPE OF DIET...YOU DONT NEED TO MAKE MANY CHANGES IN THE DIET, YOU JUST UP YOUR CARDIO, OVER THE 10-12 WEEKS THAT YOUR DIETING AND MAYBE DROP OUT FATS FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS HERE AND THERE, ECT, ECT...

NOW I BELIEVE THAT A MACRO DIET IS BETTER, BUT FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS LITTLE DIET KNOWLEDGE IT COULD BE HARD TO UNDERSTAND OR MAKE THE RIGHT ADJUSTMENTS...

LOL ok...after reading this I am now questioning all bodybuilding ethics I was taught. Do you lift weights to get stronger, or look at them? lol i kid i kid

But I am confused....would you care to educate me a bit. I don't understand how diet and carbs are of no issue to you but in the last 2 months you've lost 10lbs.

MACRO diets....looks like my next thing to obsess over learning :D
