im not really sure what couture's deal is...he makes a boat load of money off his school franchise and he is in relatively good health as far as we know, so why not retire? at 46 what more does he have to prove? he will never beat the top guys in the division so at this point why even chance it. every time he steps out there he's rolling the dice taking a chance that he could get severely hurt. i would have stopped years ago if i was him and enjoyed life

Couture is annoying me. He's definitely has some ego issues in spite of the fact that yes, he deliberately makes himself come off as a nice guy.

And I do like Randy, seriously. I know him IRL because my own MMA team collaborated with Team Quest in Portland multiple times when he was in charge. He is a genuinely nice guy, but that doesn't mean he's free of his own ego. He needs to retire and accept his time is done and he's not the ultimate warrior he thinks he is.

Fuck's sake, the guy's got an 18-10 record and he actually thinks he deserves to fight Fedor. Give me a fucking break, man.
