Lesnar was getting "handled." He came back and won. Same deal. The amount of time that it took is inconsequential. The result was the same. Silva, after being out-wrestled and pummeled, slapped on a triangle then transitioned to an armbar resulting in Sonnen submitting. Not only is it legitimate it underscores just how dangerous he really is. It also shows how Sonnen has no punching power and is not a finisher. "And STILL..."

Do you think sonnen would stand a chance against forrest griffin?
Is that a serious question...really???
Exactly the only difference is that Carwin gassed like a fat kid chasing an ice cream truck and Chael kept up a ridiculous pace for 5 rounds. Lesnar's fight was closer to be stopped than Silva's was.(glad it didnt) Silva said he wanted to sub Chael after the shit he said about the Nog brthers. You can see that he's looking for the triangle/armbar and Chael got locked in one again.
I've seen it before and I hope this isn't the new trend in mma. Wrestlers that maintain a top position and just keep moving to prevent a standup. They don't look for subs they just try to out point their opponent.
Coulda, shoulda, wouldas, ifs and buts the Champ is still the Champ.
How come nobody mentioned that Chael tapped then said he didn't until the replay showed it. Something he's done before and his trainer has done too.
