Hey everyone,
I haven't made a lot of posts on here since I've joined but I've been wanting to become more involved.
In the beginning of August I got a MRSA staph infection on my left lat. They cut me open and removed 6 cysts and I was out of the gym for a month. The pic is my starting point after ~6weeks of no structured diet and 4 weeks of NO training. My weight is approximately the same as my contest weight (227lbs) but I'm clearly holding a lot of water, I'm small and flat and I've also added a little fat.
My goal is to shred back down for 6 weeks and start a recomp and go full force into my offseason. I started this 6 week body recomp August 29th so I'm just about halfway done.
Also, I haven't been able to squat for about 4 years. After my last show I went in and found out I have a torn labrum and the top part of my femur is overgrown for the socket which they will have to reshape during surgery (12-15-16). I will be unable to train legs anywhere from 2-4 months post surgery. Once I'm cleared I plan on taking another 2-4 months to build my natural squat back up before I officially start my first cycle. I am currently 22 years old if anyone is curious.
Feel free to follow my progress during this mini diet as well as post surgery!
