I got up to 263lbs while on the diet. In these pics I'm at 256lbs. I'm about 13 weeks away from the eastern USA. I'm hoping to weigh in at 225lbs, if I do make that weight it would mean I put on 18lbs from mid jun to mid nov. I haven't faltered on the back chest workouts, right now it hard to till from the pics cause it was taken with my cheap camera phone but I've brought my chest and back up a lot...still needs a little more work but I'll eventually get there....

let know what you guys think...

rear lat spread, couldn't fully spread because of muscle still being a little tight from water retention...

Super impressed with how much muscle you have put on...Only thing I would worry about is that - This is new muscle and new muscle is harder keeping on while dieting down..Take it nice and slow on the diet..Clean up that diet now, and keep the weight as long as you can (ofcourse conditioning is the key to winning) I think your lean enough now, to have a good, slower diet and keep the weight up for a short time, before it falls off...Dont worry about what you weigh for the show, if its 225 great, if your 212 so be it...Condtioning is the key to winning shows...With 13 weeks to go, you have a good amount of time, to start to bring it in...good luck

you were very close to the same size as the guy who won the whole show and you know what he did 4 weeks later

you just look very waterlogged right now

don't let that decieve you, just get as lean as you were in june and you'll do fine

the states this year was just crazy competitve

while clean bulking, I had 6,400 calories a day split into 8 meals per day. the macro ratio was close to this: 35% carbs, 50% protein, and 15% fat.
yep, that's about 800 grams of protein a day I'm putting in. I hold water easily from carbs but I also release water quickly when carbs start to drop out.

training while bulking was just 5 days a week...mon: legs, tues: chest, wed: bis, thur: back, fri: shoulder and tris...as heavy as possible...

while cutting I will drop down to 5,000 calories and then lower it every so many weeks...no macro ratio, extreme amount of protein with 4 meals that contain carbs then slowly dropping carb meals out as I get closer to comp day. I will also do cardio if I feel that I'm not on schedule.

I actually train harder when cutting, I would train 7 days a week....
MONmon: legs, TUES: chest, drop sets of shoulders for each head, WED: bis, THUR:legs(slow concentration workout so I go slow and light, go for the pump), back, FRI: shoulder and tris, SAT: bis and chest (concentration workouts), SUN: back and tris (concentration workout)....so, for every body part I get a heavy day and then a day for maximum pump....

that's pretty much how I maintain the most amount of muscle mass while cutting, extreme amounts of protein (800 grams or over with only trace fats from the meats) and working out harder then when I was bulking...

to tenny, thanks I remember you...pretty sure you were a bit taller than me...18lbs might be nearly impossible in most people's point of view but it's my goal...I want to have shock value...I've ate myself sick at least 3 times while bulking...I had the shits for a week straight cause I got a stomach bug and still wouldn't back down from eating even when I knew that when I finished that last bite that I would be on the toilet, 8 times a day. Some would say that I should have just back off to let my stomach settle but in my mind I wanted to know I didn't falter for a sec. I knew walking into it was going to be a really competitive show but I go to win. Judges said if I had another 10lbs on me I would fair much better. I vowed to gained the maximum amount of muscle I could from june to nov. I looked at my comp pictures and was embarrassed at what I brought to the stage so here I am revamping this physique to best that I can up to this point and will come into this show WAY BETTER than the last. I want them to look at me and say, "What the hell did the kid do in his offseason?" I liked the atlantic states, it was my first show and felt I proved that I could come in conditioned...now it's time to put the mass on to match my conditioning....

I'm always hard on myself...I look at some of the pics mostly the front double bi and was embarrassed with how my front lats looked compare to everything else and how small my back was....it was extremely conditioned and detailed but just small compare to you guys...didn't mean to offend you in anyway. I looked at your pics and you looked great, I thought it could of gone either way between us but if not 1st then your last is my point....I don't have it figured out yet or it would be boring, I'm starting to learn how to dial it in even better...last time I bulk for the june show I just ate anything, now I'm smarter and eat cleaner so I have less to clean up, next time I be able to push my body just a bit farther...again, I'm truly sorry if I offended you in anyway.

From these pics I could easily see you coming in at a peeled 225. You have made some remarkable short term progress:p

so enjoy it.......cuz it wont last long

I totally agree with you with the part of me being able to make it a lifestyle...props to you for doing what you have with having kids, wife, and businesses...I don't have any of those hence I'm trying to get things going as much as I can so I don't regret not giving 100%...I revolve my whole work schedule around my eating and working out hence being a bouncer at night and teaching boxing and personal training people a few hours a day. I couldn't even imagine doing what your doing, full boat you got there. I think it's funny how us bodybuilders suffer so much through our diet and training for one day and then after that day is done we're biting at the heels to do it all over again...
 
Just don't get impatient and loose too much mass. 13 weeks out I feel you will be on time by then. A lil sub-q fine tuning you'll be good. You sweat it too much it will hurt ya more than help. Are you gonna continue to train 7 days/week all the way up or try and give a lil more recoop/recovery time?
Only thing I would prolly consider is a long duration of very low intensity cardio before breakfast.
