My wife and I just made are reservations at the MGM in Vegas for the end of Aug? Where trying to figure out what were going to do beside gamble and drink( a little).I haven't been there in a while! What's cool now a days? We heard Carrot Top was funny as hell and to stay away from Cris Angel. Does anyone have any suggestions on fun stuff to do? Thanx!

Try the grand canyon tour by helicopter. It takes about 4 hours but you also eat some grub down inside the grand canyon. The strip clubs are excellent

As long as its fun! I just don't want it turn to drink fest 2010! And be so hungover you can't do shit the next day! So I guess where looking for stuff to do where you don't have to drink but still have a good time. That helicopter tour sounds cool! And I wish on the strip joints. But that's a no go with the ole wife!

To bad you guys were not going a month sooner.. The NPC USA is in Vegas every year at the end of July...

But what i would do is.. Keep hitting your training hard and go shirtless at the hotel pool area, there are some good water parks too.

A very good friend just stayed at Encore last week.

He really enjoyed the Garth Brooks show (which astounded me... because he's a New Yorker who only listens to hip-hop)

I've heard that Love -- Cirque De Solei is amazing (If its still playing)

Wet Republic at MGM if you wanna party

Rehab at Hard Rock if you wanna party and be charged 10x what it should cost.

Also, maybe go see downtown vegas (old vegas). Def make sure you go see some shows while you are there. As for drinking.... lol learn to play craps and other games before you go due to the fact you get free drinks playing them. Make sure you make it to a liquor store.. there is one on the end of the strip. Whew I want to be on the craps table right now!

I'm going next Friday myself. It will be in the 100's. Funny I heard the same thing that Chris Angel sucked. We got tickets for Copperfield. I heard Frank Caliendo is funny. He's at the Monte Carlo. We're going to take the bus tour to the Grand Canyon. Its only 3 hours now to the tip of it.

Yeah my buddy lives there. Way too expensive though in the strip clubs at $15 a drink. DeJu Vue is good.

I would recommend The Blue Man group show. Visit the top of the Stratosphere, the view is incredible. Mandalay Bay has a really nice pool/party area. Lots of stuff to do in Vegas, on and off the strip.

try to catch a UFC event if there is any going on. I have never been to vegas or watched UFC live. But i bet it would be pretty badass.

take her to kokomos at ceasars and eat like a king, the best food will ever have then walk over to see Cirque de Solei

Just got back! Also stayed at the MGM - which is one of the better hotels/casinos. I recommend the following:

- Buffet at the Bellagio or Wynn (about 30 bucks a person, but SOOOO worth it)
- Fountains at Bellagio (your wife will dig it, and honestly, it's pretty cool!)
- David Copperfield at MGM
- Wet Republic @ MGM - no cover for ladies before a certain time
- City Center window shopping
- Eiffel Tower Restaurant - expensive, but damn good food (make reservations)

Red Rock State Park

20 mins from downtown. Great hiking, rock climbing. Very beautiful a nice change from the hustle of the strip.
