Veiricose veins

since i cant remember when i had these 2 little bumps on my vien running down my leg vein, found out what they were, doc said its actually genitic and nothing like a blood clot or anything unhealthy, i think it looks a little weird , i know supposivly theres a treatment or surgery for it maybe, wondered if any of you guys have gotten this and how much and worth it, no big deal to me but it was a thought

Mine started that way..a couple of bumpy veins.

Then I ended up with a 'nest' of them on my right hamstring....down the right calf....some on my left calf. I had them stripped out. I had a deep one in my groin that they would have had to cut into muscle to get to at the time. Now they can run a laser up and seal them off as they go.

I am going in to get that done at some point. By the end of the day my left shin is all swollen. It makes my leg ache and it's ugly as hell.

My are hereditary ...my mother has them really bad.

so you started getting more of them huh, how long and when, what ages? how much is the procedures?

Once you get them out..other healthy veins and capillaries take over for the ones that are removed.

they're thick, twisted veins. sometimes they're painful. its caused by bad valves in the veins. the valves keep the blood moving toward the heart. when the valves go blood pools and fills up the vein. most common in elderly people and most common part is lower legs.

just a little medical trivia fact hemorrhoids are varicose veins in the rectum.

They are ugly. They don't look like regular veins.

The heart pumps blood up your legs..pushing blood back to the heart. The blood pushes up against gravity. Valves close in between beats and hold the blood in position waiting for the next beat.

The heart beats again....pushing blood farther up the leg...and so on.

With vericose veins the valves are weakend and some blood drains back down the vein against the valve below...the vein is engorged with excess blood...over time this vein is stretched and distorted. Pretty soon blood isn't making its journey very well ...and over time ...the leg gets swollen..the veins are swollen and painful. They don't look that bad the first few years you've got them..but trust me..they suck.

You'll think..geez...these don't look like normal veins...the are huge ..like night crawlers....the ones I have currently on the front of my left shin are as big as my little finger.

I had the laser treatment for my vericose veins on my left calf. I went to a specialist for a cosultation and ultr-sound. After that my insurance agreed to pay for it. A few weeks later I had the laser procedure. It took about 30-40 minutes and was pretty painless. Now that evening and the next ew days my calf was pretty sore. Its been about 3 months now and my calf looks great. Good luck.

Varicose veins body mussels are not a good for the body builder. Because of it is a one type of a disease which is related with a blood. if the body builder is doing a regular exercise and if they feel varicose veins is a crazy veins then can be a confusion between both this.
