Vitargo and Sesathin equal no fat gain bulking?

A bro of mine was telling me the other day about his bulking practices now that he discovered vitargo and sesathin. He was telling me his bulking now is nothing more then 300g of vitargo, with rest of carbs made up of complex carbs and greens, no cut off, and then 600g of protein a day, and 100g of fats. He also uses sesathin. These are two newish supps that I haven't made my mind up on at all. I was just wondering if this was plausible as it seems to work for him but I would like a little science behind it. His cals equal between 4500 and 5000 cals a day, and he still is very lean which blows my mind.

Vitargo is a good product and i would be using it in all of my postworkout shakes. However 300g / DAY is a lot and going to cost him about $8.00 - $9.00 each and every day for a carb source, and we all know how realtively cheap most carbs are (oatmeal, rice, potato, ect)

I think he would be better off using it after each workout and maybe 2 - 3x / week using it as carb loading day.

thats my opinion but what do i know???

I could go to detail on this subject but I do things in my scheme of things and I know alot of you guys arent doing things my way. Someone would have to lift on certain days and be doing cardio on off training days (and sometimes training days) as I have most guys do. The sesathin is a great product, the waxy maize (learned this trick from Trop) can be used very productively postworkout but where the magic lies is "refeed days".... I use this with advanced trainees alot--and in my scheme of things those refeed days are wenesdays and saturdays if someone is advanced and on a 3 way split. I better stop here before this turnes into a 6 paragraph ramblefest and I open a can of worms
 
Keep going, keep going.... Just one question if one is doing a 3day split and having two refeed days, what's the carb allowance on no workout days?
 
Yeah, the votargo ias great shit, it will bring anything you use with it into the muscle faster tahn anyother carb out there..And no bloat or insulin spike either (thats what thjey told me) It basicly goes into the lower intestine asap as long as wyou dont have any food in yer stomach to slow it down, and then the body assimilates it and usese it fro musxcle glycogen restoration quicker than any othet carb,,It also wont be turned to fat.. So if you are doing what yer supposed to..heres where it gets good...You use the Vtargo with gltutamine/BCAA post w/o (i like 100%MR ) do the search yerself cause he's not a sponssor but the product is top notch..mix 4 svcoops of that with two scoops vitargo, the vitargo pulls the aminos and glutamine into the liver and muscle at the fastest rateof any carb out there ..

It will spike insulin. And there is nothing about it that would lessen the chance of getting fat (carbs in general don't turn to fat in normal situations anyway... they just stop fat burning).
I don't think it's magic for a bodybuilder, it's a bit faster than something like maltodextrin for replenishing glycogen but that's not critical for a bodybuilder IMO. It's easier on the stomach so that's good.
 
Def esier on the stomach..but they told me it doesnt spike insulin..I posted their respnse to me a while back..but I going tho bed so I am anot lookin 4it now..

Abstract The rate of muscle glycogen synthesis during 2 and 4 h of recovery after depletion by exercise was studied using two energy equivalent carbohydrate drinks, one containing a polyglucoside with a mean molecular mass of 500 000-700 000 (C drink), and one containing monomers and oligomers of glucose with a mean molecular mass of approximately 500 (G drink). The osmolality was 84 and 350 mosmol · lm1, respectively. A group of 13 healthy well-trained men ingested the drinks after glycogen depleting exercise, one drink at each test occasion. The total amount of carbohydrates consumed was 300 g (4.2 g · kgm1) body mass given as 75 g in 500 ml water immediately after exercise and again 30, 60 ad 90-min post exercise. Blood glucose and insulin concentrations were recorded at rest and every 30 min throughout the 4-h recovery period. Muscle biopsies were obtained at the end of exercise and after 2 and 4 h of recovery. Mean muscle glycogen contents after exercise were 52.9 (SD 27.4) mmol glycosyl units · kgm1 (dry mass) in the C group and 58.3 (SD 35.4) mmol glycosyl units · kgm1 (dry mass) in the G group. Mean glycogen synthesis rate was significantly higher during the initial 2 h for the C drink compared to the G drink: 50.2 (SD 13.7) mmol · kgm1 (dry mass) · hm1 in the C group and 29.9 (SD 12.5) mmol · kgm1 (dry mass) · hm1 in the G group. During the last 2 h the mean synthesis rate was 18.8 (SD 33.3) and 23.3 (SD 22.4) mmol · kgm1 (dry mass) · hm1 in the C and G group, respectively (n.s.). Mean blood glucose and insulin concentrations did not differ between the two drinks. Our data indicted that the osmolality of the carbohydrate drink may influence the rate of resynthesis of glycogen in muscle after its depletion by exercise.
Naturally you need insulin the clear the quick influx of glucose.
