weight of dnp caps

hey guys, i took two dnp caps and weighed them on a gram scale. one came out to be .4 almost .5 and another one came out to be .2 almost .3

i took a nickel and weighed it, and it came out 5.0

now ive used dnp before, up to 750mg/10days every other week this past fall. does this mean these two dnp caps are 300-400mg each? thanks alot for any help.

I'm not following your statement. Did one capsule weigh .2 almost .3? How low of increment does your scale weigh? That sounds like it's not a very "sensitive" scale. Is your DNP in "gelatin" caps? If they are, and you tell me what size caps they are (0 or 00, etc.), I can give you an approximate weight of the capsule.

hey xcel, thanks for the welcome. the caps look like 00 caps, though im not sure how other caps look like. they are from our brother on the east coast, so you've probably used them yourself, so you probably know what size caps they are. one cap came out to be .2-.3 and another almost .4-.5. a nickel measured 5.0, so it only measures by the gram.

I have an inexpensive, relatively accurate balance beam scale (25mg increments) that I bought at http://www.developed.net/scale.htm .

I just weighed an empty 00 gelatin capsule and it weighs "a hair" above 125mg.

hey xcel, thanks for the link to that site. those scales are extremely CHEAP! but if these caps are indeed 00 size (DL DNP), and they weigh a 'hair' over 125mg, then this means alot. because a .4 or .5 weight for one of my 250mg DNP caps are actually 125mg less which should be about right. by the way, the scale kept fluctuating between the .1 of a gram, so i can never really tell if they are 300 or 400. i knew there was a catch when i weighed them. i need of those scales you showed me. i hope im ready to start. thanks.
