Well I hit 245

I'm going to play it by ear. I don't want my body fat to get any higher, but if my body wants to keep growing I'm not going to stop it. I think I'm getting close to the max for this offseason... but I could see adding another 5, maybe even 10 pounds by the end of the year.
My plan right now is to chill out and stabilize a bit for the next couple months, then make another push around November or so.



The new training style (thanks to John Meadows) is definitely helping. I think I was undertraining with DC style for so long. Diet and supplementation are keyed in now too. Calories are pretty high; 5-6,000 calories a day.

Carbs are pretty moderate everyday - about 3-400g.

I'm kind of toggling back and forth between a "high calorie offseason diet" and a "REALLY high calorie offseason diet", lol. I'll run one for a week or two, then the other for a week or two. I just go by feel.

That doesn't mean it's not a good system though.

I love Dante. He has done alot for us. But from what I and others have found is DC training is great for beginners, but after a while its not enough volume for legs and arms. His training is good for back and chest though IMO...

Feeling your body out is ideal. It is a dance you work without getting fat but pushing gains all the time...

I must say that is an impressive weight gain.
 
I could be terribly wrong but I think DC is more oriented to crazy heavy compound movements, some of the machine movements you did with a very slow neg maybe weren´t radical enough to produce enough stimulus... I´m not saying you did it wrong (god forbid...) I know you had certain injurys to work around and even with that setback you managed to do GREAT gains last year.
