What do you guys wear to the gym, far as foot wear these days?
I'v been rocking these 2..Nothing changed, same shoes for years..But I'm curious about everyone else!
I have a home gym, and a membership.. To the gym I wear my cushion kicks, Nike - revolution 2 , If I'm doing wheels I'll toss on my Chuck Taylor's.. At home same thing, at times I'll squat in socks, but the chucks give me a sense of relief that I wont stub a toe so I slap them on for the most part!
I have high arches and my feet pronate bad from being slightly bowlegged , this on top of walking on my toes cause me to wear out my soles on the outside fast and some shoes the upper will stretch so that the shoe "leans to the outside making it unstable.
My $200 work boots are by far my most comfortable and stable shoes
Shoe shopping is like getting kicked in the dick over and over.
I reciently had a young lady tell me that she realy thinks I'd like the new Jordan Futures so I tried them on and low and behold that are very comfortable for me , have a nice wide sole print and the bottom is reasonably firm. so far I like them a lot , if they hold up for more than a few months i'll buy several more pairs.
When my converse get kinda worn they become my new gym shoes.
In the summer when it's quiet I wear flip flops

x2Those crossfit lite tr 2.0s are the best lifting shoes I've ever had. Have 4 pairs. New ones come out soon
I wear Asics wrestling shoes. My training sessions are typically 4 hours long and involve lots of striking and BJJ, and then weight training and conditioning.
These shoes give me support and versatility.
