What gauge?

What gauge do you guys use for Coconut Oil? I've never used anything made with this oil, so I want to make sure I don't choose the wrong size. I had planned on using 25g 1.5". Thanks for any info.

Hmm, never used coconut oil specifically...personally I use anywhere from a 20-23g to draw the oil, and then replace it with a 25g 1" to inject. I don't think coconut oil should be a whole lot thicker/more viscous than the usual carrier oils, and I'm sure it would draw up fine in a 25g, might just take a little longer.

25g will work fine although it'll be slow to draw as already mentioned

I inject with 25g, draw with like 21 or so.

You can go either 23 or 25 and be fine. I use both depending on pin site.

I've noticed its a pain in the ass to use anything smaller than a 25. I use slin pins on my quads and I have to push so hard it hurts my hands. doesn't like to go through and I usually end up bending the needle.

I always draw with an 18g and pin with everything from 23g 1.5" to slin pins and 27g 1/2" variety is the spice of life lol

I always draw with an 18 for anything oil based....just makes it easier. I have just never used anything with coconut oil. I'll be trying it with 25 1.5" since 1" just doesn't seem to get in far enough. I have a wide/large body type. Thanks guys, your info is much appreciated.

29 gauage slin pin here put in hot water 15 minutes to thin before drawing.I do daily injections so less amount is used.

What? I pull it with a 29 slin and it's fine. Yeah it takes longer than if done with a 23 g but I'm not in a rush

Can't pin with 25...takes too long. 23 all day.

23 for me. Much easier to push oil through then with 25
