I wanted to post this because I feel its important for all to think about....

What will be your legacy?....when your number is up, how do you want others to remember you?

If you knew tomorrow was your last day on earth, what would you do today?

Would you mend a relationship? end a war? forgive someone? help someone?
Would you hold on to old anger?

Well, many have died recently that we know of, and many that we don't hear about.......I'm sure some would love a second chance....will you give someone a second chance today?

I hope this helps someone who is angry, depressed, missing someone..

act today:)

All I hope for is to be remembered as a good father, husband, and provider for my family.

Great post and good things to think about. I just don't want to post an answer at the risk of being considered an unsavory character. I am young and lack experience and thus empathy.

I am curious to see others responses though.

Thanks. I am glad that I get the opportunity to learn all manner of things here. It's a great board.

A good father ,teacher and provider for my family

protector for some and monster for others

I could go in peace that's for sure. A few weeks back, I posted my story of my addiction to pain meds. Almost 5 years of Nubain, Vicodin, Loracet, and Percocet. Im now 8 months clean. I would love to be remembered as living proof of someone who when you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. That's been my creedo since day 1.

I never met my father, my mom (whom I love and is doing great now) had to give me to my grandparents when I was 6. I became a wrestler and football player and ended up placing 3 times in Michigan in wrestling. After school, I ballooned up to 305lbs on a 5'5 frame. 4 years later, I did my first and only show. I've always lived by the motto "don't let anyone tell you you can't do it".

Another thing I would like to be remembered for is someone who isn't judgemental. Im very compassionate to everyone. Im not shredded by any means, and after 18 months off carry quite a bit of fat, but still a good amount of muscle. I love to help where I can, and if you ask me to help with anything and I have the means to do it, I will. I'd give you the shirt off my back without any qualms.

I was raised old fashioned as well. Gramps taught me to respect the ladies. Pull the chair out, help with jackets, open doors, etc. Sorry, I just can't break that training.

If I died tomorrow, Id want to be remembered as just a genuine person who did the best he could with what he was given.

I feel ya. I used to be addicted to that shit as well. My life is a million time better now that I've been off that shit for years.

A couple of things:

1. A man who humbled himself to God.
2. A family that loved me.
3. Friends who knew I was sincere and giving.
4. A hard worker and honest Business man.
5. Someone who live life to enjoy it, even the small things.

I would not change a thing.

I hope I am remembered as someone honest, someone who cared for people, who never backed down from his principles and always tried to do the right thing.
I'd rather be destroyed being who I am than survive as someone I am not.

I hope this helps someone who is angry, depressed, missing someone..

All of the above.
;)

Please someone Post a bodybuilding trophy.. Jk...

A bodybuilding lifestyle is so much more than trophies and looking big...

To me.. My legacy would center around my kids primarily.. My accomplishments include some bbing success but minor in comparison to my commitments to my family.

Congratz on going clean man. It takes a mentally strong person to kick a nubain habit.

Dammit, Marilyn.....

I wanted to post this because I feel its important for all to think about....

What will be your legacy?....when your number is up, how do you want others to remember you?

You know...I never really thought about that before....

If you knew tomorrow was your last day on earth, what would you do today?

I'd ask my best friend to marry me. She's a lesbian *sigh*, but I'll never love another like I do her. Maybe if I told her "don't worry, you won't have to wake up next to me", it might work. LOL.

Would you mend a relationship? end a war? forgive someone? help someone?
Would you hold on to old anger?

I'd say goodbye to my Mom. I haven't spoken with her in a couple of years.

Well, many have died recently that we know of, and many that we don't hear about.......I'm sure some would love a second chance....will you give someone a second chance today?

First you made me wanna cry with those sick abs, now you attack my emotions? :(:p:D

well...

I try to live each day thinking positive thougts no matter what.....each day I wake up and really do think its a new day.

I want to continue to help others when I can, and influence others in a good way.....If nothing else I want to be remembered as a happy positive thoughtful person, who is strong and not affraid of change and a person who takes care of their family with love and lots fun times.

Life is very important as I learned after several straight years of only working non-stop....life was passing me by and I didnt even know it.....

I will forever stop to smell the roses and spend that quality time with family and good friends.:)
