I have my best results what I PRIME for my cycle (basically 3 day low carb 1 day carb load rotation for 4 weeks before my cycle @ 250-500 below maint.
I have read that this puts the body into a highly anabolic state , the day I start my cycle I bump my cals 750 above maint and the results are like magic , I see the best gains in the first 3-4 weeks then it slow a bit and becomes 1-2 pounds a week depending on the compound(s)..
However my very first cycle (12 weeks test e 500mg and 50mg dbol ed 5 weeks) I ate like an animimal 1000 cals over maint all clean and I gained alot of weight weeks 1-5 (thanks dbol) the for like 3 weeks I had all I could do to keep those gains- then at weeks 8-12 I packed on around 10 more pounds.

This is sort of what I did this time. I gained really heavy the first five weeks. Now I'm in week seven and struggling. I've bumped my cals to try and help, but It's alot harder now. I was hoping to gain like that the whole way through.

Everyone is different, I feel now after 9 weeks my body is used to the gear and basically the results are sub par unless I bump cals huge , but this leads to way too much fat gain.
Now I like 8 weekers tops. My fav is a good 8 weeks of prop 100-125mg ED kicked with 5 weeks of 50mg ed dbol. This way im shut down for shorter periods and can cylce more often- and with the priming I feel I dont need to add more compounds.
Basically Ill cycle for 8 weeks at 500-750 cals over maint, then I do a 30 day PCT of clomid, nolva and L-dex- During this time cals stay at a steady 750 over maint. I use clen at EOD at a dose low dose to help fight fat gain and combat catabolism. Then after pct I do 4 weeks at 250 over maint running clen for 2 weeks on/2 off, then a prime of 4 weeks at 500 below maint with a 75 mg ECA stack.. I dont compete so im not looking to be huge- this way though I can handle the physical aspect of my job and train and keep my body weight between 195-220 year round.
