I have read that this puts the body into a highly anabolic state , the day I start my cycle I bump my cals 750 above maint and the results are like magic , I see the best gains in the first 3-4 weeks then it slow a bit and becomes 1-2 pounds a week depending on the compound(s)..
Compounds and diets are the deciding factor in when gains come , but I always think I look my best the first 3 weeks into my cycle after a good priming.
