It’s weird how Derek is so hard in certain areas like the back and then has no straitions in the chest. I think Samson looks great but I don’t think he beats Derek. Agreed - I have no issue with Derek winning. I just didn’t think he did enough to dethrone Hadi. Derek’s back is insane but I don’t think anyone up there had the conditioning or muscle maturity as Hadi. Hadi’s abs are absolutely shredded on another level.

Having said all that Andrew is still my favorite physique on that stage. I know he has some issues - no clue why the fuck he won’t sit lower on that side pose - he’s not doing himself any favors. But still, his overall flow is so aesthetically pleasing and every time he does abs and thighs I’m just like fuckkkkkk.

I agree, and I am torn. I thought Hadi won, but I cannot sit here and say Derek shouldn't have won either.

Do people subscribe to the whole "ambassador of the sport' bullshit? I do not, and think the whole concept is kind of garbage, but is it possible Olympia people feel Derek is a better face og the sport than Hadi?
