would anyone like me to start an accutane log?

i just got prescribed accutane from my derm just took my first dose 40mg,,,,, most likley will be on for 6 months and will up my dose as i go.... this is all because of acne from my last cycle.... hopefully it kills my oil glands but who knows....

so in short if you want me to keep a log please let me know

It pretty much effects everyone in the same way. Its an awesome drug, it killed my teenage acne completely, and prevented acne during and post cycle.

It sucks being on it though, starting around the first month it was dry cracked lips bloody noses, and the inability to cycle while on it. But its totally worth it. You skin looks brand new, super smooth.

Just make sure you only use Dove with Nutricare body wash for both your body and to wash you face. Dont use any products marketed as acne care. And only use CereVe lotion (blue bottle); even though its like 15$ for a medium sized bottle, it felt soo damn good to apply it, and its super thin lotion and wont clog pores. Use vitamin E pills.

The above mentioned is what got me through my second cycle of it. The first cycle, I stopped about 2 months in and couldnt handle the sides of cracking lips and flaking skin. I was in 10th grade, and my dermatologist didnt give me any suggestions like the ones i mentioned above. Im in college now and went to a local dermatologist who was substantially better and got me though the sides with ease.

May as well log it mate. Im an acne sufferer but it clears up when im on test? Makes you wonder why you bother comming off, perhaps i won't this time

Its a known side. I ended up doing research on this afterwards. And I lived with the guy for a while. He was fine, always calm and happy. about 2 weeks after starting accutane he had become a complete dick. 2 weeks after he stopped using accutane he had called me up to apologize. So between that personal experience, and doing multiple google searches about accutane and anger, I believe it.

This stuff cleared up my wifes acne when nothing else would. two thumbs up
