jesse marunde apparantly died yesterday from a massive coronary. he was only 33 years old. god damn 33 is young.

Yeah seems like a lot of guys are passing in the last year on the powerlifting sideand BBingside. RIP and GODBLESS! 33 IS way too young. Hopefully it wasn't a result of rec drugs. Sounds like maybe heart disease runs in his family. It's VERY rare for even steroid users to die of a massive coronary hearat attack at 33.

No matter your age... this is a good reason for everybody to get a heart stress test just to make sure everything looks OK in there. Especially with gear use. An EKG just doesn't really tell you much.

Jesse, was not into rec drug's! He was not that type of person, family history I dont have a clue but the rec drug I can pretty much say for sure was not an issue in this. He was a dedicated professional in the strong man sport completely focused. He,s been working for his goal as the strongest man in the world for more than 10 year's. A back injury was the only reason he lost in China, he had it sewn up.

He was a very large man but he had a massive frame, he did not carry alot of unnessicary weight like alot of other competitors.

I am just sick.

You're right, he is reasonably lean for a big guy.
