In response to Bravo. It's more of the issue of personal freedom than it is the quality assurance of products. That as well as the FDA exercising their power towards congress and fulfilling their personal selfish agendas at the cost of our personal freedom.

Their job should be to protect us from bad harmful drugs and
harmful food processing methods than from 'active' or 'inert' supplements.

If we are stupid enough to buy inert products as you say then we should be able to make our own stupid decisions without interference.

Well, I got a response from my senator, which basically states that he does "not" support the 3 bills H.R. 207, Sen. Durbin’s S. 722, and Sen. Biden’s S. 1780, but does support the Dietary Supplements Health and Education Act (DSHEA). He also stated that he helped get 30 million dollars to support DSHEA in the future, which could avoid the 3 bills H.R. 207, Sen. Durbin’s S. 722, and Sen. Biden’s S. 1780.

Getting a reponse like this does keep it in the minds of our senators and way be what we need. Thanks to those that support Superior1's post... Cjay

I've got responses back from a couple of my states legislators. One in particular is a republican ans is very health and fitness conscious. He has always been quick to respond and seems to be somewhat on our side. I've even participated in some of his health expos and 5K events.
