I'm totally confused here, I was reading in my book "Hardcore Bodybuilding a Scientific Approach". The best way to gain muscle is to Zig Zag your way to muscular weight gain. Their theory is that you should consume access calories for 1 to 2 days and then consume follow a restriction for 3 to 5 days. The theory is that the weight you gain in the 2 days will put off your Basal metabolic rate and then by resticting your calories your body gets used to it or something and you can gain more muscle this way. This really fucking confuses me as I'm just trying to get the fastest way to add muscle and don't know what the fuck this book is talking about, yet it's half written by Tom Platz so if anyone could help me out with this theory or if anyone has a better one to gain the maximum amount of muscle, (muscle being the focus I could not care about fat.) please help a brotha out.
