Protien Granola from the Book "muscle-chow"

protien granola
ingredients-
3 cups oats
1/2 cup unsalted roasted almonds
3 tablespoons whole flax seeds
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup toasted wheat germ
4 scoops vaniilla whey
2 tbls brown sugar
3tbls honey
1 cup water
3 tablespoons dried cranberries
3 tbls dried chopped dates
2 tbls raisins

step 1
preheat oven to 350

step2
in large bowl mix all ingedients except cranberries, dates and raisins

step 3
coat a large bakin pan with cooking spray, add mixture and spread even from edge to edge

step 4
bake for 90 mins stirring every 15 mins. until all granola is browned and crunchy. If its not crunchy after 90 mins bake another 15 while watching it doesnt get too dark.

step 5
remove froim the oven and allow to cool completely

step6
add cranberries date and raisins.

per serving (1/2 cup) 418 cals, 23 grams protien, 58 carb, 12 fat, 1 sat fat, 9 fiber, 26mg sodium..
