When home made and ready to serve I love the hard shell. I only prefer soft when it's the next day left overs. And then I probably prefer a larger burrito style for wrap for leftovers. Ground beef in taco seasoning. fresh shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, jalapenos, shredded lettuce, +hot salsa on top of taco or to side of burrito.
