If you are into this sport than you already know that nutrition is the key to this game. All the gear in the world is only going to take you so far if you are not consistent with your not only your training but most importantly your food. So here is a basic menu or guide if you will, to follow. You can make these meals as with whatever recipe you choose because liking what you eat will go along way towards reaching your goals of getting in the copious amounts of food needed to optimize your physique. SO here goes:
Meal 1:
Oatmeal & Eggs
Piece of fruit if you like
Meal 2 - 4:
Chicken or Beef
Rice or Potato
Salad or Veggie
Meal 5:
Beef or Fish
Veggies
Meal 6:
Cottage Cheese
Almonds
Feel free to swap out protein sources for any of the meals except breakfast and meal 6. Calculate your macros and figure out how much of each you need and don't worry about the calories because if you are hitting your macros than you are containing your calories. If you need to grow eat more, if you need to cut eat less. Keep it simple.
