Wearing gigantic Beats by Dre headphones to the gym

If you guys want a really good pair or in-ear canal sport headphones for the gym, try the Polk Audio Ultrafit3000 series. You will not be upset. I spent about 6-8 months finding the proper headset for the gym and these are by far the best. I'm EXTREMELY picky because I have reference headphones for my studio so I know how the music I listen to is suppose to sound. The bass response is not overwhelming but it is pretty good and they only cost about $60 on Amazon.

What's wrong with a fanny pack and CD player? I went back to the gym after a 14 year layoff and I admit I don't see many cats wearing crazee wear either?

I wouldn't say it's a fad myself. They are the newest thing in quality in sound. I'm thinking about getting some but I feel like I would look goofy in them they look so big.

Recently bought a set of cheap, functional bluetooth earphones from Amazon. For 25 bucks, best investment ever especially if you have several pairs of lifting shorts without pockets.

Love the Bluetooth headphones. Perfect for the gym. Won't use anything else now.

Head Phones #SafetyHazard

Is it just me or it seems like a gym fad that everyone and their grandmother is wearing those gigantic studio style beats by dre headphones to the gym. Not only bodybuilders but even random people. Even Jay Cutler has had them on during some of his recent photo shoots. What do you guys think of this fad?

We had some bodybuilder doing heavy overhead presses lost control of the BB on the last rep went backwards yelled for the two douche bags behind him to move. The couldn't hear because they had their stylish Dre's on. Both went to the hospital. New Gym Policy NO headphones unless you are dong cardio!

I have these expensive Bose headphones that are similar, had to wear them to the gym the other day because my earbuds broke...they were absolutely terrible to workout in. I was doing deadlifts and they kept falling off my head lol and the cord is mad long too.

IMO nobody should wear headphones if they are lifting weights, its just not safe. I don't care what kind of headphone they are. Good rule at the gym IMO.

I love my wireless beats. Ive got the in ears and over ears. If you have the money for them, IMO they are the best wireless headphones if you are going for power.

Going to the wrong gym! Where I used to go would usually play the local rock station or some heavy metal which is right up my ally. It wasn't a big commercial gym though.
