Another thing I see today
I see alot of males, husbands, couples, where the woman appears to be in charge. Women now days are more aggressive, feel empowered, feel like they wear the pants in the relationship.
Many women are not like this, they are passive and sensitive (typical feminine traits). I personally do not worry about this as an aggressive masculine attitude in woman is unattractive so I would never be attratcted to a girl like this relationship wise in the first place
But I am not sure how some men so willingly are ok with being controlled and bossed around. I see this in my co-workers and my landlord especially
Now the opposite is bad too, I see controlling men and women who let men who are possible abusive but over protective and controlling and I wonder why don't you leave the little dick loser? Maybe they are the female version of captain save a ho and they see good in him and want to save him, where someone like me if your boyfriend is abusive he can get a sledgehammer to his head and get dumped in a ditch and the cops should turn the other way. But very Nice woman actually have empathy for them, which to me is weakness. A male who hits woman, weather he was abused or is mentally ill, I lack empathy for and am fine with whatever happening to him.
But back on topic, I find it odd that many pen seek or put up with controlling women. I also find women more aggressive in the work place and they have lower agreeableness (we are told women are more agreeable but I don't see it not in the field of mental health which I work which is 80% women).
You think too much, the human species is weak and pathetic.
"The intellect, as a means for the preservation of the individual, unfolds its chief powers in simulation; for this is the means by which the weaker, less robust individuals preserve themselves, since they are denied the chance of waging the struggle for existence with horns or the fangs of beasts of prey. In man this art of simulation reaches its peak: here deception, flattering, lying and cheating, talking behind the back, posing, living in borrowed splendor, being masked, the disguise of convention, acting a role before others and before oneself — in short, the constant fluttering around the single flame of vanity is so much the rule and the law that almost nothing is more incomprehensible than how an honest and pure urge for truth could make its appearance among men."
"What, indeed, does man know of himself! Can he even once perceive himself completely, laid out as if in an illuminated glass case? Does not nature keep much the most from him, even about his body, to spellbind and confine him in a proud, deceptive consciousness, far from the coils of the intestines, the quick current of the blood stream, and the involved tremors of the fibers? She threw away the key; and woe to the calamitous curiosity which might peer just once through a crack in the chamber of consciousness and look down, and sense that man rests upon the merciless, the greedy, the insatiable, the murderous, in the indifference of his ignorance — hanging in dreams, as it were, upon the back of a tiger. In view of this, whence in all the world comes the urge for truth?"
