Culture changes, life forms evolve, but Maybe the point is that modern people always look for support in an external place, and then they are less autonomous and more easies to control.

Maybe people are more prone to look for external sources of support because there are more of them available than there used to be. Is it weakness to take advantage of extra support, or blockheaded stubbornness not to?

The same goes for the category of depression and stress, people use the term too loosely and create a pity party and it allows enabling.. Our generation has NO FUCKING IDEA what REAL stress is... Not a fucking clue...

It’s simply about the values the older generations can teach us... The discipline, the ability to conquer adversity, extreme ownership/responsibility etc... We don’t have that anymore... Everyone is entitled to THE MOST benefit with THE LEAST effort/work... There’s A LOT of enabling going on...

I’m simply saying that we can look back on the men and women before us and their hard times and those core values and lessons can help us with ours...

I had to take a health communications class as part of my degree this past spring, at a major university. In groups we had to come up with a mock public campaign. These 3 girls (18-22 y/o) said they would educate doctors on how to better treat the trans community! Also educate more doctors to do gender reassignment surgery and hormones.

I don`t have a problem with any tranny`s but I did raise a few points. Hippocratic oath says "do no harm". I said while a young 20 y/o boy might make a great tranny, what if the dr feels it will do him harm, it is not medically needed, or moral in his mind, how could you push dr`s to do that? The reply "well that`s kinda a gray area". I told the class I was denied TRT with a total test at the lower end of the range because dr didn`t feel I needed it. I said, its not just your personal interest group that are told no on hormones. Imagine this, a white, middle aged, conservative male, I was a victim just like your people! LOL It was silence.

But yes that is the culture of today and part of why men are softer, wussies, and lack masculinity. The schools ram this down your throat

say there is one guy that goes around the building talking, socializing with co workers. also gets in confrontations with them. is facebook friends with everyone in the building considered cool. you have to ask, why does this person do this? do they want to impress co workers? do they want to create a perception that they are "cool" and "likable" and "popular" ? to me this is beta, because they genuinally care about how people at work, a place you go for the goal to collect money, feel about them.

this is the alpha, because he gentuinally doesn't give a fuck about others perception of him. he goes to work with the goal to do his work and not stay Late and maximize his leisure time (work as few hours as possible to get the job done)



at the gym, I do not consider the alpha the bodybuilder who everyone goes to for advice and he gives them tips on diet and training. why is he doing this? to impress younger beginners, to appear cool and sociable at the gym?


to me the alpha is the guy who comes in, doesn't speak, hits the weights and achieves his goal and gets the hell out so he can hang with his family, or his girl, or sleep, or watch TV when he gets home etc

an alpha to me is someone who doesn't wish to impress anyone or care what they think of him he simply lives life to meet his own goals, increase his own leisure time, net worth, whatever his goals may be

a real alpha is typically quiet and doesn't give a fuck about you unless you impact or impede him from his goals, or can help him accomplish him.
